It's stuff like today's comic that makes me wish that I could play in a game that he would be the GM/ST/etc - talk about awesomeness! I never saw that coming.

Hmm, well, this is a pickle. They can't free themselves to get to the ring, and they need the ring to free themselves. I suppose they could try prying the bolts out of the metal plate holding them to the wall, but that could take a while.

Plus Minmax is gonna have to do it without pants.

I'm guessing Scorpion Kin had a ring of dispelling or something, so Kin is going to use her tail to get the rings off of the other Kin's fingers to get them out of trouble.

Looks like they are switching to Dies Horribly and Saves a Fox for now.

Am I the only one who thinks that Dies might be thinking the wrong way about his name? Dies Horribly may mean that he's going to suffer a terrible fate that he can't avoid... or it could mean that he's horrible at dying. In which case, it might account for all the times that's avoided dying by the skin of his teeth. Just a thought.

I think it's mainly jarring because we're only getting updates twice a week. If read in book form, I think it'd be okay.

Well, he's been hella sick lately. I think that combined with ongoing house drama might be delaying things a bit.

I think it would be less jarring if he had a link to the the page this page picks up from. I had forgot about the encounter with Mr Fingers (sad to say).

Also, I don't think the deal is that simple. There's no guarantee the demon is telling the truth.

Generally speaking, if they are offering a deal then they are Lawful and have to abide by the terms. Most Chaotic types would have just killed them on the spot.

I suspect we'll be seeing some more faces once the main group gets back to the village. This is assuming Kor doesn't catch up to them in the meantime...

Theory:

Klick and dies kind of share a soul, right? So maybe dies can kind of transfer his soul into his green arm or something and give up his body. He would then, essentially die horribly but live on in klick/some kind of new body.
