I wish I could be looking forward to this... but to me, GTA IV was a big letdown. I had more fun in Saints Row 2 despite the horrible controls and framerate issues on PC. In GTA 4, I dreaded the missions and only had brief bits of fun going berzerk in public. In SR2, even though nothing stopped me from random vehicular villainry, I only committed any in the process of getting to the next mission as absolutely fast as possible.
Is there any word about a coop campaign for GTA V? Cause that was also a deal sealer on SR2.

They already said it would be based on LA this time.
San Andreas was serious? What with the remote control airplane bombings, the sky diving, and the freakin' jetpack being stashed in Area 51?
The GTA series hasn't existed for me since Saints Row 2 came out. 
It had a more serious "Boyz in da Hood" tone as opposed to ridiculous Miami Vice tone of Vice City.

I liked San Andreas best as well.
Allen & Gusto like playing with each other's balls. Sorry, my mind's in the gutter.

I swear they did a great job making it feel like LA. I was watching the video and just the little things made me nostalgic for when I used to live near there.

my guess on the V, is that, judging from the green curved cross-weave texture in it, they had the idea to make it look like currency... and then someone actually pulled out a 5 dollar bill and said "Oh shit! There ARE NO ROMAN NUMERALS on the 5 dollar bill!" And someone else said "Well, I guess we should write "five" across it on a scroll in the federal reserve font, huh?"
I guess I'm in the minority. I was completely underwhelmed. It just seemed...lackadaisical. I'm just not feeling the hook. *Shrug* Not saying that it was a bad trailer, but I guess I'm somehow not in the audience for it (which is a little strange since I love every GTA game of the last decade and change).

The game was officially announced in Rockstar's page. An important detail is that the game (as I was expecting) will be set in Los Santos as well as some of the surrounding areas, as opposed to all of San Andreas.
Personally, I think this is for the best.While San Andreas was large by game standards, it was kind of silly that an entire state wasn't as big as a real life large city. Better to have a more focused yet larger area, like they did with GTA V. Plus, there's always expansions.
