The woman at the Shrine of Azura will join you if you complete the quest and return the Star of Azura to her. She's a spell caster. Are there companions that spellcast?
As a Melee guy I really would like to have a spellcaster companion.Even if they are stupid as fuck.
So I have to be a total dick.I think the only really good way to improve that skill is to sneak into people's houses when their sleeping. Preferably the little farm houses that don't have guards around them.
What Stat do you take when you level up? Stamina from leveling(though not items or potions) gives you 5 carry capacity per point spent, granted I am a twohander man so that also means tons of extra power attacks to enemy face.My pickpocket skill has raised by 1 since I started. I really want to get it high enough to get that extra pockets perk (carrying capacity +100), but I'm just not successful often enough and I end up losing more than I gain when the guards come after me.
The hell did you find that one?The Steed stone is the only stone, the ONLY stone.
100 extra pounds of carry and no speed reduction for armor. I'm in.
What.... my god.... I must have it.The steed is located northwest of Solitude and near the shrine of Meridia at the top of a mountain.
Also, it makes any armor you are wearing not count towards carry capacity. The Steed is too good.
I didn't realize you could melt down the stuff into ingots.I can't count how many times I ended up with a stack of dragon stuff because I would randomly kill 3 dragons on my way somewhere.
And Dwemer ruins are a looters weight nightmare. All that stuff that can be turned into ingots and can make you quadrillions of gold.
WEIGHT! Steed rules, the rest are blah.
So it does the exact same thing as some of the perks in the Heavy and Light Armor trees? The steed is located northwest of Solitude and near the shrine of Meridia at the top of a mountain.
Also, it makes any armor you are wearing not count towards carry capacity. The Steed is too good.
Also, +100 pounds carry weight. Those perks are pretty deep in those trees, you won't have them in the beginning of the game when steed will help you carry all you can carry to get a leg up gold wise.So it does the exact same thing as some of the perks in the Heavy and Light Armor trees?
In the end game, your going to be wearing about 100 pounds of armor, or at least you will if you take Heavy Armor. Not having it weigh you down would be the equivalent of this stone. Also, +100 pounds carry weight. Those perks are pretty deep in those trees, you won't have them in the beginning of the game when steed will help you carry all you can carry to get a leg up gold wise.
Probably, but I've never needed more than 400 carry capacity. I can already meet that with with my enchants and Stam increases. As i said before, The Steed is probably more valuable if you don't have other means to increase your carry. From what I understand Ash, it'd negate the 100 pounds of Heavy Armor PLUS an extra 100 pounds for carrying.
