It's the brooding emo of D&D.Ah. It's a full-on role-playing thing. That's why I didn't know.
I don't know, dude. I think Dark Sun is like that really weird looking guy that has a lot of friends for some reason. It's the brooding emo of D&D.
I dunno, it might be a welcome change of pace if you're tired with the stereotypical fantasy setting and want something darker and edgier. You know, something where magic is something truly terrible and fearsome, not like something that makes the hover trains run.I cannot imagine ever wanting to play a game in Dark Sun, it sounds awful. Magic is terrible and shitty unless you are the worst thing to exist and also your weapon is going to break on every 3rd or so turn.
Which is why you learn not to use them and instead learn to improvise solutions. Dark Sun is all about using your environment to your advantage... things like traps, ambushes, and other guerrilla tactics can really turn the tide. It's really not a "dungeon raiding" setting... it's more a "survival of the fittest" thing.Combat in Dark Sun just seems so tiresome, you're spending so much time worrying about your shitty brittle weapons.
hey, that one was a metaphor!I don't know, dude. I think Dark Sun is like that really weird looking guy that has a lot of friends for some reason.
PS: similes?
similes?Dark Sun being like that really weird looking guy is a metaphor?
Even if it slowed down a little they'd reach that easily.I hope they hit Order of the Stickers... I want stickers.
