Like I said in the comments thread, there are some costs that don't increase linearly, like taxes and storage costs. In addition, at some point it's no longer feasible for one person to just put extra hours in to get everything processed and shipped, so the costs of processing essentially doubles or triples. So, assuming he had an initial percentage planned on for overall costs, once the volume got bumped up a tier, the percentages were no longer sufficient.I'm a little confused about what the administrative stuff is, exactly. Someone in the Kickstarter comments theorized it was to pay someone to help him with all these orders.
