Yeah, for better or worse. I think I've mentioned before that at its best it feels like a DnD campaign I'd play in with one of my groups, and at its worst it feels like fanfiction. I'm enjoying it, much as I'd enjoy any Avatar anything, but if I'd never watched the original, this one wouldn't have sold me yet.I'm enjoying the hell out of the series. I feel that The Last Airbender was better, and more epic in scope, but I'm enjoying the changes they brought with this. It feels like a side-story, a smaller adventure in a different time. They already did the grand saving the world arc, now it's time for saving the city, and what looks to be the last of the bending era.
It's Naganna happen.I need more Naga in my life!
Samir Na... Nahasa....It's Naganna happen.

I would never insult Korra by comparing it to the Silmarillion.Lord of the Rings to the Silmarillion?
FTFYThe truth behind the Avatar cycle:
But the guy that made the image was wrong, the missing element is HEART!
They had a much more relaxed time table. Assuming a Season 3 gets green lit for Korra, we may get more comedy. It's stuff like this that will always make the original series so much better than Korra. Not that's it's terrible... just a notch under the original series.
I think what made it the best was that Sokka was actually holding his own.Sokka's rap battle with the haiku master will forever be 3 of my favourite minutes of that show.
I think it's due to Aang's better sense of balance. He may not have been as good a bender as Korra (who remember, has been properly trained anyway as opposed to Aang's learning on the fly) but he had a better spiritual connection, which Korra lacks. Is it just me or does Korra just seem obscenely more powerful than Aang ever was (outside of the Avatar state anyway)? I don't know if it's because she's just stronger or if Aang was holding back because of his beliefs, but she seems stronger than entire teams of other benders.
Did anyone else notice how Tarrlok's eye seemed to resemble someone who's been spirit bended during that fight? Also, that fight was awesome.
Preview for tomorrow's ep:
So...you didn't see the episode that just ended 5 minutes ago? With every new episode (especially last week's), I'm more convinced that Tarlok is Amon.
Then again, maybe that's what they want us to think.
