[Webcomic] PVP Discussion

Jesus, there are a HUGE amount of things wrong with the Trenches, like how it's terribly unfunny for only being twice weekly but the bunny art is so low on the list that it's barely worth thinking of.

The Trenches is really bad.

That is it's only redeeming value. The stories from testers and game developers is all that's worth reading. The comic is pitifully terrible.

Instead of writing the awful boring shit that is The Trenches, why not just take the viewer stories and have Gabe illustrate them? That would be awesome.

I think Mike is busy with other things (lots of other things) which is why Scott does the artwork for these.

The idea of a collab between Steve Kuntz and PA sounds great on paper, but by having to work together, you lose a lot of the unique flavor that makes both special. You end up with this shit, bland, homogenized crap.

Something thats not quite relevant to todays strip but a problem I've had with it as a whole lately.

I hate Max.
Ever since he has been brought back, he has been the blandest character. The only moderately interesting thing about him is that he's gay, and even that really hasn't been referenced other than in his coming out story. For the most part, he's just a perfect person who is always right (one exception i can think of is duck). I get that being perfect has always been his thing, but back when he was the antagonist, it made him funny to see the characters hate him. Now that he's "on their side" he's just dull.

My 2¢

I think that when Scott decided to make the character openly gay, it made him feel like he needed to treat the character with kid gloves, which is unfortunate.

Ok. I posted that page 97 doesn't have posts. I posted and they appeared. I deleted the post and they disappeared. So here's another post so I can read the otherwise unseeable posts.

Yeah, that was weird. I wonder if the thread length is causing issues or something. 97 pages is pretty long.

Gah! I hate waking up with a headache, seems like nothing that will normally alleviate a headache for me will work on days like this.

Lucille is in love with max. Max obviously isn't interested. She threatens to bring down the company unless they go on a date. Max accidentally schedules another date at the same time, so he tries juggling both dates.

Something like that?
