Actually find that show boring to be honest. Cannot relate to it in the least, the jokes just don't hit home with me at all.
You're welcome.
Have you decided not to watch a show just because people tell you that you should, basing your opinion on that alone with no real experience watching it? Because if so, then yes, I was talking about you. If not, then yeah.....I just got called a nerd hipster because I don't like Big Bang Theory.
Forum shark jumped.
Hate is a strong word. Overrated by people who are easily amused and uses a character that is excessively annoying that makes me rather watch Desperate Housewives New Jersey Remix edition is more along the lines of what I call it.Wow... a lot of you guys really seem to have a hate on for The Big Bang Theory.
I think between HowDroll and myself, it's been established that you are awesome and have amazing taste.I like BBT... Does this make me terrible?

THISLaugh tracks are annoying no matter what show you're watching.
But if they are not there, how will I know when to laugh?Laugh tracks are annoying no matter what show you're watching.
The problem is that studies have show that they work. People think things are funnier, on average, with a laugh track.Laugh tracks are annoying no matter what show you're watching.
Which only makes sense. Laughter is contagious. But it is still a crutch. The problem is that studies have show that they work. People think things are funnier, on average, with a laugh track.
Especially M*A*S*H.Laugh tracks are annoying no matter what show you're watching.
Some of my favorite M*A*S*H episodes are the ones without laugh tracks.Especially M*A*S*H.

Dammit, somebody flipped HawkeyeBot's switch to maudlin again. Some of my favorite M*A*S*H episodes are the ones without laugh tracks.
"Most of the laugh tracks on television were recorded in the early1950's. These days, most of the people you hear laughing are dead." - Chuck PalahniukLaugh tracks are annoying no matter what show you're watching.
Other than musical foreshadowing? Perhaps a sob track? There needs to be an opposite of the laugh track for dramas.
Heh, the Season 4 closing credits music (which was the second half of the opening credits music for season 3) is my ringtone for people I work with.Gyehh... it's been years since I've watched/listened to that show and the mere mention of that effect still sets my teeth on edge.
I used to like it, but I honestly feel that it's run the "Who's the mom?" for too long. It's past time to have them meet and get into the early stupidity of relationships. Until that happens... not watching anymore.
You're welcome.
Not Amazing. Not the best sitcom ever. But as the cheap 4 camera with laughtrack sitcoms go, this one was pretty okay. I consider it the new Friends. However, like Friends, it's gone on way too long and overstayed its welcome, the characters devolving into caricatures of themselves while the show gradually gets more and more into "will they won't they?" type drama. So glad Jason Segel realizes this and is leaving the show after this next season.I used to like it, but I honestly feel that it's run the "Who's the mom?" for too long. It's past time to have them meet and get into the early stupidity of relationships. Until that happens... not watching anymore.
