THE POLICE ARE KEEPING US SAFER
Note: I have never said nor thought that having no police is better in any way whatsoeverYou know, I'm not defending the actions in that article, but I hope you one day get your dream of a world without police.
But they know how to get dirty. If you don't have police then you can't fuck them.
Fuck the City Sanitation Worker just doesn't have the same ring.
Totally right, that's generally the police's fault and not the lawmakers your (and my) country vote into power.I want a better police force that makes the country a safer place instead of one that just makes the prison industry rich.
Yes, and the fact that he was wearing a badge and a uniform and was driving a police car at the time doesn't change the fact that he's a shitty person, and that his shittiness does not reflect upon the rest of the police force or the other police officers. No more than an accountant who goes crazy and shoots up his workplace should reflect poorly upon other accountants, or a guy who wears a baseball cap while downloading child porn should reflect poorly upon other people who wear baseball caps. Sometimes you get bad people, in all walks of life. That being said, back on topic, the guy that ran over that young man is probably a shitty person.
or just because one Asian guy in a pool wears swimming goggles doesn't mean all Asians in pools wear swimming goggles.Yes, and the fact that he was wearing a badge and a uniform and was driving a police car at the time doesn't change the fact that he's a shitty person, and that his shittiness does not reflect upon the rest of the police force or the other police officers. Charging the mom for the repairs though, that's pretty shitty too.
NoThis The_Khan guy is hilarious. Can we keep him?
Exactly!or just because one Asian guy in a pool wears swimming goggles doesn't mean all Asians in pools wear swimming goggles.
come on baby, if you keep trolling me like this, I might just have to stalk you on facebook.[DOUBLEPOST=1349677210][/DOUBLEPOST]
God when swimming pools look the way they do in China you better be wearing goggles. You might not want to go into the pool even. When in 8 hours a 3km stretch of beach can have 50 tonnes of garbage dropped on it, maybe stay away from the beach as well.Exactly!
Of course, all Asians in swimming pools do indeed wear goggles, but the fact remains that the logical leap from "one guy wearing goggles" to "all wear goggles" is invalid.
And yes, this means if you see a goggle-less Asian guy in a swimming pool, it's clearly a spy in a (poor) disguise, and you should call the appropriate authorities immediately.
Isn't that Somalia? You know, I'm not defending the actions in that article, but I hope you one day get your dream of a world without police.
lmao, yes someone stealing paving stones from a rich dude's lawn deserves to get murdered with a motor vehicleOr you know, DON'T BREAK THE FREAKING LAW!
I don't carry the same anti-police feelings that Charlie does, but I find this to be a very dangerous, dismissive attitude.Or you know, DON'T BREAK THE FREAKING LAW!
My point - you are both right. He shouldn't have been stealing, but that's not a death sentence.lmao, yes someone stealing paving stones from a rich dude's lawn deserves to get murdered with a motor vehicle
you do realize it's insanely illegal for the police to shoot someone in the back that is fleeing right?I bet he was alive when he was asked to surrender.
Ain't that a great system?
you do realize it's insanely illegal for the police to shoot someone in the back that is fleeing right
This is something you'll never understand.you do realize it's insanely illegal for the police to shoot someone in the back that is fleeing right?
I mean they'll never get convicted since it's an accident and everyone running from the police that gets shot reaches into their pocket for a gun (that they never have) AND they'd never get convicted because of the BLUE WALL CODE OF SILENCE SUPPORT OUR BOYS
because I'm not in the trenches? This is something you'll never understand.
My father was a police officer, and I know FOR A FACT that if a suspect reaches into their pocket, you are trained to assume it is to reach for a weapon. That's basic safety.because I'm not in the trenches?
Basically, yes. And I'm not trying to devalue your opinions, but you are coming from a very biased viewpoint diametrically opposed to a few of the people here. Your always assuming to police are in the wrong is just as wrong as those who say the police are always right. What you fail to understand is that there are a lot of bad people out there who are able to lie straight to your face while saying they didn't hit that person or steal that item. And when it comes down to a split-second decision that could be the difference between your wife getting a call in the night or being able to go home to her yourself, well...each situation is different.because I'm not in the trenches?
I would fucking love for police officers to go to a criminal trial more often and have them get proven innocent!Innocent until proven guilty beyond a shadow of doubt applies as much to police officers as it does to regular citizens..
