Not necessarily, the COC did say that the Own The Podium program's goal was to win the most total medals, and that it has failed.And I suppose that means we'll have owned the podium, too. Blech.
I disagree. I think total golds is a much better indicator.I suppose what is better total # of medals vs # of gold, I can see it both ways.
And how do you rate the events where countries are limited to a single entrant?Because even though you have won several events, its possible that we had several 1-2 finish's which i would rate higher than having one person finish first than your next country man be in last.
