This is disconcerting. I took a picture of me in a kilt, and asked ChatGPT to make it studio ghibli style. The only prompt was "make this image studio ghibli style"

So, I guess ChatGPT "knows" i'm into cross stitch, crochet, tinwhistles and 3d printing now...without me having to tell it. A little unsettling.

I guess because I've talked about all of these things in the past. The specific tokens in the chat are no longer the limit of what it will draw from...

I've noticed cross-contamination in my AI RPG sessions as well. One session, I needed to name a minor character and pulled the name "Castellanos" out of my ass. But sure enough, every time in other, completely separate sessions, any time the AI fabricated a new character as needed, most of the time it named them Castellanos.

It's still kind of dumb though. I took it up on its offer and asked if it could make an stl file for me? It said it couldn't, but it could generate OpenSCAD scripts to create an stl file. So, I told it to make me an articulated dragon. I already have plenty on my vendor's table, but I wanted to see what it could do.
It assured me these were the features it generated.

I pasted the script into OpenSCAD and hit render. I don't really know what I was expecting.

Isn't that also basically the plot of the 80s movie, Mannequin, with Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrall?

Non Sequitur - TIL G.W. Bailey is still alive, and still acting as recently as 2022.
