[NCAAF] College Football 2013

Well, at least the Tigers beat the Tide and then the Tigers lost to the Gamecocks. Although the Tigers then beat the Aggies to advance to the championship game where the Tigers will face off against the Tigers.

I'm happy for Auburn, my brother coached their coach in college.

And he still can not get tickets...

Best part was that Saban demanded that extra second. I enjoyed watching him eat crow. Now the retard Bama base is whining about how Davis was out of bounds. What a bunch of babies.

And now Mich State beats Ohio State to send the BCS into an epileptic fit of uselessness. Looks like Florida State is the only unbeaten team in the nation. But who should play them for all the marbles? Everyone else has a loss on the books, including Auburn, Mich State, Ohio State, Alabama, etc. So who gets it? While it's probably Auburn, is that the right choice? Sure their only loss was to #6 LSU, but 'Bama's only loss was to #4 Auburn. And Ohio State lost to #10 Mich State.

If you go by strength...'Bama should get the nod.

Just to be clear, I don't care who gets in. My Hawkeyes had a great season and were so close they could taste it. I'm just pointing out how messed up the current system is. Don't even get me started on other 1-loss teams like Baylor or UCF, who should also be in the conversation but for some reason are not.

Its easily Auburn. Alabama shouldn't go over them because they didn't win the SEC and lost to you know...Auburn.

And it could've been us going there :(

Auburn definitely should go. They beat Bama and then won the SEC title. They got hot when they needed to and have been unstoppable on the ground.

Ohio State had an easy schedule and then couldn't beat a tough team when they had to. With the number of straight wins they had, if they had also beaten Michigan State, then maybe the conversation would be different.

You can't really make a case for any one loss team to go ahead of Alabama, so that counts the rest of the teams out. If Missouri had beaten Auburn, then Bama would be back in the conversation as well. If Alabama can't go due to the late loss to Auburn, then the choice seems rather obvious.

Austin is all a twitter about Nick Saban's wife shopping for houses just outside of town...
Please Lord, no. Keep Brown!
BOOMER!

I can't believe Oklahoma made it to a proper bowl game this year. I don't quite think that they deserve it though. If Bama doesn't stomp all over them then I'll be even more surprised. OU was just one interception away from not being in this spot. This could be a bit of preview for OU-Texas next year? I hope not!

52 to 14.

The last time Mount Union lost that badly to another team, Lance Leipold and I were attending UW-Whitewater.

Fifth National Championship in six seasons. I'd say that's impressive. :)

Yep. Although last year UWW lost to three other teams. But UMU? We're it for them.

I still say we should play a home-and-home series over a two-year period.

Meanwhile, my team made it to a bowl game for the first time in a decade, and they completely Couged it. I wish that I couldn't believe that they managed to fuck that up so badly, but as a fan of their team for the past 25 years, I was not a bit surprised.

With the way the two teams' uniforms look, the Cotton Bowl looks all the world like a high school state championship game.

Noles win their second BCS title - stopping the SEC run of champions.

Now, could we set up a game between Michigan State and Florida State for a playoff champion?

I still don't see how a playoff of 4 teams will help the situation. There needs to be a playoff between the champions of each of the major conferences.

I am overjoyed for my alma mater. Having Adrian Peterson on your sideline is better than having a chick in the stands for recruiting apparently!
