Just gonna put the whole thing up here again since the page turned. Also, good call deciding to take the boat now--had you rested, he would've been gone.

Things to do in town;

REST
Get Aurora to send for my wagon that we left behind in Marsal, as it contains evidence against Mosiah (! also the horses given to us by the queen)
Learn the two rituals I have acquired
Upgrade my armour from leather to chainmail
Re-christen and re-register the yacht under the name of HMS Pelor's Glory
Live on the yacht like classic 80's show Riptide
hire new crew loyal to Pelor
Suggest that Heimrich go to Marsal and become new sherriff

Treasure
Brooch is fancy looking so it might suit Aurora RPingly, mechanically it offers an ability that mimics Jaisahn's nature
Jaisahn will share the gold he found
So that equal 357 gp each in treasure since we last left Caragi
Aurora can decide the fate of the gems

and inspired by last nights fight, I am retraining my lvl 2 Utility power from Cure Light Wounds to Sanctuary

if we have the chance to shop for magic items, I will buy a +1 Holy Symbol

Prerequisite: Con 15, any primal class. proficiency with hide armor
Benefit: While wearing hide armor, you can use your Constitution modifier in place ofyour Dexterity or Intelligence modifier to determine your AC.

I gave him a summary of what you guys have done and some of what you've discovered. He'll pick up more details as you go, especially with the way tomorrow's RP should be.

BTW, he's new to D&D, so please be patient during the battle. He's listened to Shawn's game several sessions and I've explained the basics, but little explanations will be given to him by me here and there.

A plate mail wearing, heavy shield carrying, longsword swinging weapon expert fighter would be nice.

Let him start with a +1 longsword as his only magic weapon and he will hit like crazy allowing for tons of flanking options for Kraag.

He's a scale-wearing two-sword fighter. He'll be fine for tanking with AC+7 armor.

As in specced for more DPS. Basically a changed LVL 3 Power and 1 Feat. I'd send you my new sheet but I'm making macros and I'm tired as fuck. :(

Oh that's just the start;

The HMS Pelors Glory will eventually receive

Beds of Rapid Rest for all the officers
Restful Bedrolls for all the regular crew
Feast Table for all the crew to enjoy
Everlasting Provisions to be taken off the ship on humanitarian missions
Handy Haversacks and Bag of Holdings to increase the cargo capacity
and of other sneaking things like Teleportation Disks, portals, alarms, traps and weapons

I'm sorry but I won't be able to attend tonight's game as I'll be visiting my mother in the hospital. She's having leg surgery. I'll most likely miss Thursday's game as well but will confirm it tomorrow.

While I feel we could've worked through since I had situations in mind for just such an occasion, Julie didn't really wanna play with just Aurora and Jaisahn. My brother did not show up and a quick conversation with him told me he wouldn't be showing up on time for any session, so as much as he wanted to play, I told him I didn't think it would work out.

After talking with Julie some, I've decided to cancel the game as it is. She really doesn't want to play D&D at this point, and I can't expect HC and Jay to carry it just the two of them. That isn't fair and would probably become boring very quickly, just having two players. So the camp would need someone to replace Julie, and the ad for another player's been up for months now.

I've now had a taste of DMing and while I really feel I still have a bit to learn, I've at least gotten my feet wet, and I cannot thank you guys enough for giving me the chance to do so. I had a lot of fun coming up with interesting situations... and then watching you guys completely disembowel my plans and do things I'm completely not expecting :p. I don't think I'll ever get it so I can predict that stuff--probably no one can, so there would be dud situations, but I've learned how to keep fun possibilities in the wings, even if I didn't get to show that much. I appreciate the chance I had to learn and I'm sure I'll DM something again in the future.

Well thank you for the game. I had a lot of fun with that character both with revealed and hidden items. I'll eventually finish the updates and post them. Maybe we get all blown out to sea on the HMS Pelors Glory?

I'd like to keep the story going; I was having fun.
