The pictures are funny, but they don't really do a very good job of copying the pose from the picture. If MJ really is sitting bolt-upright, that's a pretty odd pose. But the viewpoint is looking down into her coffee mug. She's reclining on the couch, and when you take that into account it explains the arched back. The legs are in a bizarre combination of positions. Neither by themselves is odd, but together they don't fit. However, I have seen girls sit comfortably in positions that are just as contorted. Heck, I tried sitting in that position, and if my ankle were just a little more flexible, it'd be kinda comfy for a little while.

Overanalyzing kills the humor!

I don't think she's meant to be relaxing in that picture anyway. Spidey's going off on another adventure, with all the risks and dangers inherent to that, so her body language shows more than a little tension, it's to indicate she's worried about her man.

It doesn't look like we're looking down into the coffee to me. It looks like we have an eyeline straight for the crevice between the back and the seat.

Either way, if that's MJ and peter in the picture, when did Barbie and Ken get cast as our favorite couple.

Yeah, she's not meant to be relaxing. People fidget when they are anxious, too. I don't think sitting like that is quite outside the realm of possibility for someone stressing out.

Pretty depressing I lost that amazing wallpaper David edited for me last month in my HD format. *sigh*

Dunno why the post is so funny though Figment, I relax like that everyday.

* I actually would have loved to have posed for that picture and posted in here now, but there's noone around to actually take it. Boo!

A friend of mine actually does sit like that when we are chilling at her place.It always looked uncomfortable to me,but she says she dosnt mind.

Saw this before; it's Cantonese, the translation is supposed to be something like "I treat you like jewelry, don't treat me like trash."
