That's not a choke hold, even on a deer. I think he is blinding it to reduce its panic.
This suggests either you don't consider yourself a real American, or you have personally knocked a deer unconscious with a choke hold on a 50 pound bag of Ol' Roy dog food in a Walmart. So which is it?

You know, considering how many times our trunk got used as a changing table because there wasn't one in any of the restrooms, I don't think this is a huge stretch.
Instead of having to clean a whole car seat, clothing, etc. from an potty emergency? A thousand times yes.
