Funny Pictures Thread. It begins again

There's a Hooters here in Taipei. I've been there a couple of times. Once was for our company's year-end banquet.

Look, I'll be honest, the waitresses were very hot, but the food wasn't good enough for the price point to justify going there to eat. And when literally I am the one saying that I don't feel like it's worthwhile to go to Hooters, I can see why they'd have problems.

They've shuttered a bunch of the Walgreens near us, so it's only a matter of time.

I was at Joann Fabrics a few days ago to try and get what I can out of their "closing forever" stock. I'm extra pissed because I already lost Rag Shop and I refuse to shop at Hobby Lobby because they're garbage, they're filthy and they never have what I need. I overheard an elderly lady lamenting to the fabric cutter that it was a shame to lose the store, and it was because "no one taught young people to [craft and sew] anymore", and I wanted to tell her that noooooo, it's because JF got private equity'd like Toys'R'Us, Party City, etc., but I just don't have the bandwidth anymore.

Simple explanation: Private equity firms are like Galactus. They come to your company, set up their machinery, convert it to energy (money), and then consume it, after which they move on to find their next victim.

Which is why I'm waiting to hear Walgreens is dying. They just got bought by a private equity firm.
Rite Aid is going through bankruptcy and while a ton of them closed, the one I use is being kept open (they described it as a consolidation). However for the last year or so the shelves have been almost totally bare. There anre no issues with the pharmacy itself and there are signs promising that it’s not closing down but it just feels bleak.

I legitimately cannot tell if this is an April Fool's joke or not:

A British tea company would never microwave tea, right? But this is a plausible product otherwise, so... WUT?

If it was someone like Tetley's I might consider that it was real. Yorkshire make quality tea though so no way no how is this genuine.

Although I do kinda want to see what the Spiffing Brit's reaction to seeing this in the shops would be.
