Gas Bandit's Political Thread V: The Vampire Likes Bats

this is disgusting
No, no; political violence is only bad and terrorism when the other guys do it. You clearly haven't read the message.

Seriously, though, yes, this is bad. And yet another sign of the ever-increasing demonizing of "the other side", by both sides. You may consider Trump supporters idiots, but they're not (necessarily) Nazis - and even if they were, despite what a generation of computer games may claim, killing Nazis still isn't OK.

Yeah this isn't acceptable at all. I'm glad no one was seriously hurt and I hope the arsonist is caught soon. This is not what America should be.

At this point I'd bet a nickel the Breitbart wing of the GOP did this themselves and hope their friends in the noise machine can sufficiently put the blame on Hillary.
I wouldn't be surprised at this point in the campaign, to be honest. And I don't care if I get YDTTA'ed for it; heck, I remember the whole takeover of the Dem Party offices in West Allis back in '08 (I think?).

I don't think some of the GOP tacticians would be beneath it, but I hardly see how they'd gain anything from doing this. All it does is give HRC a chance to show statemanship and willingness to cooperate with moderate Republicans and how she disapproves of this in-fighting and division, while Trump, of course, doesn't miss a chance to go straight for dehumanizing the opponent and spew tough filth. It might go over well with the hardcore supporters but what moderate will think "those animals are after us!" is more presidential than HRCs answer?

There's already been a Democrat-backed GoFundMe to help pay for damages, and they've already passed their collection goals with $13,000 pledged.

Explanation - to head off the "I need this explained" ratings:

The above chart is the political spectrum -

So basically, the upper left quadrant are the socialist authoritarians (democrats and most dictatorships), represented by the AK-47. The upper right are the Authoritarian right, AKA republicans, represented by the M-16 (or AR-15, perhaps). The lower right are the economic libertarians, represented by a sawed-off shotgun (which is illegal under current federal law), and in the lower left, you have your... well, I think you get the idea.

The Bundy militia?
Not exactly. Leftist economics but low government authority. The kind of people who think they should be able to do whatever they want without government interference (drugs, marriage, etc), but the government needs to be in charge of their health care, providing them shelter, mowing their lawn, etc. Leftist economics.

So, basically, San Francisco.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who is confused on this issue.

I think you meant "Saints Row 3."

Hey. Doing the Thing Again would have been flat out accusing the Breitbarts of staging the fire. Just suggesting it's a possibility, especially with their reputation and admissions of Making Shit Up, shouldn't be.

This is the election where those who have invested in tinfoil will make an absolute fortune. :p
I only gave you that rating jokingly, remembering your previous reactions to being YDTTAed. (Thanks for the acronym @jwhouk!)
