I still don’t know why federal agents did not defend, shoot, and kill those MI protesters when they originally showed up at the end of April. I don’t know how a group of vehicles that show up, blockade federal property, and then disgorge dozens and dozens of gun-toting, swastika-wearing “militia” could ordinarily be construed as anything other than a direct threat.

Much like Qualified Immunity and law enforcement, the immunity that members of Congress enjoy from being prosecuted for insider trading also needs to go. There is no reason for that immunity to exist other than to allow members of Congress to fatten their wallets at the expense of the markets. None.

I read the article... apparently he's worried about what the public thinks about him and doesn't want his image tainted by it. As a result he's been urging the Supreme Court to avoid any and all cases where he would come down on the unpopular side.
How is this dipshit a Supreme Court Justice? Aren't they supposed to rule however they feel is correct under the law, and not worry about public opinion? He sounds like an insecure high school kid.

Even if he didn't do those things, the way he reacted during the whole thing was one big giant clue about how insecure he is.
