As we learned yesterday through Dei, Zappit has expired of old age. I have his urn displayed next to one of his paintings.
Klew was closest to him in life, so he makes the appeal for Zappit's specter to return.
Sara grills up some tofu burgers for breakfast.
Null's enjoyment of the meal is lessened somewhat by Silk's contribution.
Spar and Tiger opt for popcorn instead.
Even ghost dogs poop, and apparently, even ghost dogs gotta eat. I guess that stands to reason.
Klew bones up on logic with the help of a book.
This May/December romance is still going strong, looks like.
Null gets to work on his next book.
Even heavy rain doesn't stop Vero from going out and making friends.
And any fisherman will tell you the rain just gets the fish to bite better, right MikeRC?
Klew learns a lot from the logic manual, but doesn't finish it. Instead he goes off to have a cry in bed.
Trips to the bathroom are somewhat more awkward when there's a crazy lady in there telling a story to a sleeping ghost dog.
Lunch, reading, and conversation.
How does a ghost dog get sprayed by a skunk?! I guess he REALLY scared it.
One whiff of that dog is enough to send Bhamv out to the front lawn to shower in the rain. In front of all the neighbors.
Null finishes his latest book, and it's excellent. He decides to send his works off for self-publishing. Here's a list of what he's written so far, in case you've forgotten.
Null then heads off to have a nap. Klew's still down in the dumps, and Bhamv's got a romantic agenda to pursue, so I prod her into getting flirty with him and then taking him out on a date.
At the Solar Flare Lounge, Bhamv lays it on a little too thick, moving faster than Klew might be comfortable with.
She likes the challenge.
Thing is, Klew seems to be turning a head or two, himself. Ah well, the date is a technical success, and it's not like Bhamv is serious about him anyway.
Home for a nap
Klew tries to cheer himself up with a bathroom mirror.
Since he finished his reading, finally, it's on to the part where this wannabe renaissance sim needs to get 4 skills to level 4. So, I have Klew make vegetable dumplings for dinner.
... HOW is Zappit sending text messages from beyond the grave?
"What? No, I didn't break the fridge..." - Klew
A walk in the rain has Celt Z feeling euphoric, M'lord. I DID NOT GET HER THAT HAT WHERE DID IT COME FROM
While everybody gets ready to eat, Sara starts fixing the fridge.
Null gobbles down his food and goes off to play video games, since he's kinda starved for fun.
Sara manages to finish in time to eat with the others, but man, she's bushed. Bed right after dinner is the plan.
Hours later, after most everybody has gone to bed, a sad spectre comes to pay a visit.
Klew, fortunately is still awake though, and is there to greet his departed friend, and talk him back into residency.
They get to talking and... well, things kinda progress. The flirty influence of the date rewards strikes again. Maybe Klew and Zappit are going to be more than "just friends."
Klew finally has to hit the sack, but Zappit is under no such constraint, and picks up where he left off, putting paint to canvas.
Tiger wakes up super early, and gets a jumpstart on the day with a cuppa joe.
Zappit finishes his painting, and hangs it in the dining area, to enjoy while he has leftover dumplings for breakfast.
Then, after putting his plate in the dishwasher, he decides to possess the refrigerator for a while.
The years have taken a toll on Null, and it seems it is finally his time.
Bhamv pleads with the reaper to spare her boyfriend.
Astonishingly enough, Death is moved by her entreaty, and gives Null more time among the living.
