Every darn household is being so unproductive when I first arrive at them. Goofing off, the lot of them.
DA's playing chess. Well, if it puts him in the right mood for chasing his aspiration, that could be useful.
Dei's just watching political stuff on TV though. Apparently her audition didn't yield any results, and there's no open auditions in the near future, so she's sort of in limbo as far as becoming an actress is concerned.
Tin's swimming some laps, but there's a Daisy puddle nearby that is taking him out of the moment.
Celt Z is, at least, doing something productive - though, since she considers cleaning to count as fun, I suppose it's only sensible.
Dei takes it upon herself to grill up some veggie burgers for breakfast. But it looks like she might need some pepto.
The sisters begin chowing down, and something is in the air...
I wager it's this thing. Every time Celt Z has gone on a date, she's brought home one of these... and it just seems to radiate romance to anyone within line of sight.
Nobody is immune to its siren song... though, some people aren't exactly trying to resist it, either.
Snuffles, however, is unaffected, because Daisy is sick and he's gotta be a daddy.
And while he is occupied outside, it looks like Celt Z has decided to rearrange Snuffles' closet - with Gas' help. Jeez, I'm kinda surprised the door didn't buckle under all that impact stress.
And then a little post-nookie coffee. Because sex is nice, but coffee is COFFEE.
It may be cloudy out, but DarkAudit and Tin go sliding anyway.
Alright, that's enough "fooling around" for now... it's time to get cracking on aspirations. The next step in Snuffles' aspiration lies in employment. I have him get a job.
I set Tin and Jwhouk to reading, and get Gas and DA to attempt to achieve a focused mindset by playing chess against each other. They need that frame of mind for a "focused" 2 hour video game session for their aspiration.
Celt Z has her own aspirations of course, and now thoroughly caffeinated, she's revved up and ready to go.
So as not to interrupt the studiousness of her housemates, I send Celt Z to household 3, looking for a fresh face to press.
Oh hey, check out this guy on the treadmill, hubba hubba.
A little schmoozing, a little sweet talk, and MD is putty in Keltsy's hands.
But then he goes and makes it wierd. Uhhh.. time to move on.
She tries her luck at Household 2 across the street.
Patrthom's looking a little greyer, and is apparently too absorbed in his chess game to really interact with Celt Z... but who's this blushing brunette on the dance floor...
It's all too easy to twitterpate Emrys.
The romantic tension is too much, and Emrys runs away to have a relaxing soak.
That's ok. Celt Z is a patient huntress. She helps herself to some tea while she waits.
Emrys didn't stand a chance.
.... or has the huntress become the hunted?
It has been a VERY busy day already, and the coffee is wearing off. Celt Z elects to go home to recharge.
Meanwhile, Tinwhistler has grilled up some fruit. Can't have a day without grilled fruit, after all.
COFFEE.
Snuffles needs to get to skill 7 in mixology. I send him downstairs to practice.
I corral everybody back into chasing their dreams again... but Gas and DarkAudit just won't cooperate. There's too many distractions, and they can't get focused.
In order to achieve the next level of her goals, Celt Z needs to get her charisma skill to 4. I set her to practicing making eyes and whatnot with the mirror.
Oh yeah, sure, just rub it in, Dei. She achieves focus without even really trying.
DA needs a nap, so I call a recess on his and Gas' pursuit of gaming zen.
The focusing effects of chess have been outweighed by the confidence surge Gas received from winning at it, anyway.
Meanwhile, I spot Kags and Terrik at the playground next door, having an animated argument over some baked potatoes.
Gas samples the fruits of Snuffles' labor, and Dei grabs some dinner and joins in. As if to mock my futile efforts, Jwhouk becomes focused on video games.
Celt Z's hard work pays off with a charisma skill point. Now she's really exhausted, so she heads off to bed.
Sometimes art really DOES imitate life.
It's not even 9pm yet and half the household has gone to bed.
Oh wait, my mistake... Jwhouk hasn't gone to bed, he's just taking a nap on a bench by the pool.
Gas FINALLY achieves focus! He wants to go to bed, so I have to force him to play video games. Wow, sometimes art does NOT imitate life at all.
And there goes DA! Finally! This took literally all day!
Tin needs to read books for his aspiration, but the solitude is starting to affect his need to be social.
When I'm not looking, Gas and DA's concentration fails, and Gas sneaks off to bed instead of finishing his game.
Dei got a few hours of sleep, so she wakes up and decides to go midnight slip-n-sliding.
Jwhouk needs more books too. When he awakens from his nap, I sit him with Tin, maybe it will count as socializing if they read together?
Apparently that brief burst of physical activity was just what Dei needed... to get back to sleep. In her preferred location, of course.
She wakes up 2 hours later feelin'.... saucy.
Dei decides that 3 am is the perfect time to go troll the forums. DA finally admits it is time for bed. Tin follows soon after, but...
Jwhouk has pulled an all nighter.
