I think the next one officially scheduled is the last Tuesday in July...which would be the 26th. I'm packing up a moving truck and hitting the road from the 27th until the beginning of August. I won't know my internet status after that for a week or two.

I am open to the idea, we will see how my home life reacts to this.

Everyone include the parrot is now at 1316 XP, I gave a very big bonus for how Solaria's death was handled. It was rather touching.

If only we didn't have those unexpected guests last night, but like I said before, nothing is free.

you mean the unexpected guests tat Locian said beforhand would try and kill him, and that he spotted hiding behind a wall? totally didn't see tat one coming. ;)

just a note, Locian seems to be the opposite of my character in Jay's game. Rathkor is the kinda guy who seems to fall for every trap and ambush in the game, whereas Locian seems to have a firm enough grasp on the world to be able to point out when they are about to fall into a trap. just food for thought.

No I meant the unexpected guests we endured for using a free ventrillo server.

I must say though, that the line of sight feature for maptools is awesome, hearing your reactions to moving somewhere only to find that you can now see something is great fun.

Sorry I missed the game, I got called in last minute and then had to work this morning as well. If something similar happens I'll do what I can to let you all know ASAP. I will try to put up a RP post pertaining to the events of last night, hopefully we can get solaria back soon. Her and Ralts synergize something fierce powerwise.

I agree with HC. unlike the others, i never left my caracters perspective, hence why i never saw the reinforcements coming towards us. i really liked the suprise aspect, and i think it limited the OOc strategy, forcing me to think on my feet like i set up Locian to do. its really cool like that.

While Solaria is/was well-versed in many different instruments, it is somewhat important to realize that she left home with a lyre, not a lute. A lyre is like a small handheld harp.

Picture this, but a bit more ornate and eladric-looking. We are a culture of artists, after all.

Along similar lines it is also reasonable to assume that Solaria has at least some formal training in most of the arts, including acting, drawing, painting, most instruments, singing and dancing. They just don't come up quite as often as the lyre might.

If possible, i would like to search the area for ritual components before we go sailing again. Locian hasn't done that before now because he wasn't sure if we'd be leaving this realm like last time, but now he's thinking we'll be here for a while, and our things shouldn't be disappearing like they did before.

I want to confirm. With my new job (it's great!) I will only be running 1 session per month. I now get up at 5 AM and playing D&D until 11:30 PM more often than that will wreck my system.

But that just means more RP threads :)

1 per month is fine. I was just getting ahead of myself. Do you need to move it to a Friday or something? The last Friday of the month is bad for me this time but maybe we can work out a better schedule for you?

Hey so guys!

I'm doing the August Draw Every Day thing in the Art Forum, and in February I used the opportunity to draw three characters from Jay's game.

If anyone wants to post a physical description of their character I could probably come up with some kind of sketch sometime this month. :)

Long Blond/White hair, just past the shoulders. Almost perpetual smart ass cocky grin. blue eyes. no facial hair. slender lightly muscled build. wears chainmail, has 2 swords, one longsword one shortsword. longsword worn on back when not in use, with short sword fastened to his right hip, so he can draw it with his left hand.

Sorry I bailed guys! My aunt came over to visit so I went to say hi, then my internet had crashed when I got back like 4 minutes later.

My modem and/or router ave been really shitty lately - time for a replacement I think.

Could Gusto have missed a more action packed session?!

Tune in next time as our four living heroes continue to thwart the plans the DM lays out for them and abondon well defined encounters forcing him to make stuff up on the fly!

Will Solaria ever be saved? Or will the party move on to the next city in hopes of finding a cheaper way to bring her back to the living?
