[PC Game] Hearthstone (Practically Beta)

Further update:
They're not 1 mana 1/1 candle creatures like the ones you get from Kara Kazam.
They're a 4 mana spell (Darkness Candle) that forces you to cast it when drawn and which then draws another card. So they have a little bit of a Loatheb-like effect to them that will make hard removal more difficult. Also they cost enough that they can't be removed by Hemet, Jungle Hunter.
Also I can't wait for the first highlight where someone plays Loatheb and then the opponent draws one of these, forcing the opponent to immediately spend nine mana. Ouch.

Does that mean that these:

Cost you 5 mana when drawn?

Because that makes the whole Deck of Wonders thing, SUCK.

I'd more expect that these cards don't cost mana when they cast themselves.

The Candles do NOT cost mana when they are drawn:



See 1:08:50, roughly, for a candle being drawn.

Expansion comes out in just two days. You may want to clear out most/all of your quests tomorrow to make enough room for any special quests the expansion might bring.
 
They're really doubling down on the "1/1 thing that summons a bigger thing." If I didn't know better, I'd say it was specifically to give a "pbbblblblbllt!" option to things like Summoning Stone, Atiesh, etc.

Oh hey, they changed Liadrin's voice line to "My blade burns with holy fire" instead of her hammer, which she was definitely not holding.
 
I've only been able to beat Dungeon Run on Paladin so far, thanks to 5 Lich Kings that all cost 5, and a Val'anyr. I keep getting screwed on the last boss for my priest run.
 
Poe tried to warn me, but I wouldn't listen, had to try it a few times for myself--Warlock quest is still weak.

Also, everyone seems to be playing Paladins and Hunters tonight.
 
I am loving the dungeon run mode right now. Some of the bosses can be kind of unfair if you are not preparing for them with your picks. The darkness is just wrecking me. I've beat it once but the other times I have fatigued it and then it board clears a couple turns it a row and I die before it can fatigue to death. (which is a lot of turns with 70 health)

Overall though most of the bosses are great with cute little gimmicks

Anyway I have a great warlock deck right now. I picked big minions get reduced to 5 cost. Then I got 4 mountain giants so turn two I can tap and play a zero mana mountain. Follow that up with tap and play 2 more giants and its basically over.
 
I have cleared dungeon run with Paladin (1st try) and Mage (2nd try), but I CAN'T FUCKING CLEAR WITH PRIEST. AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Well opened 7 packs last night.
Got 3 legendaries (Aluneth, Skull of the Man’ari ,and Temporus). Also Runespear as my random weapon upon logging in.
Best expansion ever.
Also, anyone need Kobold Apprentices or Dragonslayers? I seem to have a few extra.
