Looks like a better cooling solution, though. My old 8800GTX tried to use one of those cage impellers like your old card, and it just overheated like crazy (not surprising given that it was factory overclocked). I ended up just removing the plastic shroud from the heat sink (rendering the stock fan completely useless) and sticking a dedicated fan card in the adjacent slot to blow air directly on the sink. Worked much better after that.
 
After a few bumpy moments with the new Nvidia drivers (was getting weird FPS until I did a clean install from safe mode--maybe anti virus was screwing it up?), I was able to put every graphics setting for MGS:V to extra high and run it at a constant 60 FPS. Not bad at all.
