I actually find Miranda rather unattractive. Not sure what it is but when the light hits her face she seems almost sickly. Then again, I didn't find Ashley all that attractive either and look at me trying to stick with her.

Really the only characters I find really attractive in ME2 as Kelly and Aria, Tali I like because she has always had a cool personality.
Wha... what the hell?

Aria? From Omega? ... you realize you'd be her bitch, right?

Unless you're into that sorta thing.

.....

I'd do it.

ANYWAY, just beat the game. And wow, I already can't wait for the third.

Not everyone survived the suicide mission. Tali and Grunt both died. Grunt died a good death, but Tali took a sniper to the head... I'm still sad about it.

AND she's voiced by Carrie-Anne Moss, fucking Trinity.

I went for Tali though. she's adorable

P.S. Ok now that I got her in the black suit Miranda is not so bad, maybe the outfit was just washing her out to me.
yeah, that shiny black catsuit of hers... damn

I want an outfit like that for the fem shep I made, but get stuck with that overalls thing that does not look good on anyone or the military styled stuff.

Man I just wanted to say again how happy I am to have Garrus back. He is the only character once again that I have to bring to nearly ever mission, the rest I switch out based on how well I think they fit for whats happening, like Grunt on the Korgan world, Jack when I know I will fight a biotic, Zeead when I am storming a skyscraper, etc. I admit though most of my teams when it involves the story missions involve Garrus and Grunt, you just can't go wrong with a wrecking ball out front and two snipers/riflemen sitting in the back. If I didn't bring Grunt, I think Jack or Mordin will be my next choices. All the others are good but don't synergize well with myself and Garrus.

Did anyone else gain a healthy amount of respect/sympathy for Mordin during his loyalty mission?

You know, after watching the video showing off the Renegade options in Mass Effect 2, I think I almost wish I had the strength to make those choices. They are hilarious. I totally would have punched that news chick too. Oh and...

SPOILERS.

I sure did. Plus the voice acting was outstanding, you could hear how, behind his objective certainty that the genophage was the right choice, his conscience still bothered him.

I'd say Mordin's voice acting there is probably the best in the game, followed closely by Tali's voice acting while romancing her.

I'll post this as politely as possible as this is important to me.

Just because some people failed at being proper posters and cannot manage the effort to use spoiler tags when they post, it doesn't mean it gives everyone else a green card to do it. Moderation on these forums is poor and it is important that we moderate this kind of stuff between ourselves so that spoilers, whether large or small are not going to ruin someone else's gameplay. Unlike some who finished the game as quickly as possible and have a lot to share with others, there are others, such as myself, which are taking their sweet time to play this fantastic game, savoring every gaming moment at their own pace. This may mean that it may take several weeks may pass before the game is finished for some. This doesn't mean these posters shouldn't be able to partake in the enthusiasm of the game neither when it can simply be avoided by posters properly clicking on the spoiler tag. Or even better, some moderation. If we don't have enough mods to go around doing this job, I'd gladly do it for this gaming sub-forum.

Please respect the gaming immersion of your fellow posters and please stop posting spoilers.

Fair enough.. but why are you hanging around the thread if you want to avoid even the most irrelevant and trivial of spoilers? There are spoilers of the kind in the tags now, FFS. I understand where you're coming from, but just as you expect people to respect the pace you're playing at, you should also realize that not everyone thinks irrelevant details count as "spoilers". One thing is talking about the specifics of a character's reactions in their loyalty mission (which you seemingly had no problem with) and another is a gag that could just as easily been featured in a TV spot or something, since it has no impact on storyline, character development, immersion...nothing. It's like talking about the armor pattern colors, which, again, you seemingly had no problem with.

What surprised me is you singled out my post and called me out on spoilers when it's perhaps the least spoiler-y thing in the thread's page. What I can't help but assume from that is that you're ok with reading spoilers you've already seen yourself even if they're un-tagged, but will jump at the most minute thing if you haven't. Which is a bit unreasonable, really. You're ok with people talking about a major plot point like Garrus being around cause you're probably already past that spot, but not a minute detail people have even posted youtube videos of? So it's spoilers at YOUR pace that you're ok with?

I want to know what person will go into a thread about a certain game/movie/book and not expect to see untagged spoilers. The game's been out for several weeks at this point. Spoilers in a thread about it really should not come as a surprise.

The rule is that unless the title of the thread has the warning for spoilers all spoilers should be tagged, which is fair enough, and something I've always appreciated and tried to follow.

What I find stunning is that he considers a throwaway gag like mordin's singing, something lots of players probably even MISS in their playthrough, more deserving of a calling out than open un-tagged talk about mordin's reactions/storyline or Garrus being around or etc.

So, when does the thread title get changed to reflect that the game has been released?

We could change it to Mass Effect 3 Anticipation Station. That way we'll be able to keep this thread here for years!

I think we should respect his wishes.

So, now when we talk about
Shepard
when he
shoots some people
and then
scans the body for an upgrade
, we should use spoilers. We definitely need to spoiler anything major like
Jacob's loyalty mission
where he
meets his father after 9 years
. That would just be mean to reveal ahead of time. We should not even reveal that the
Collectors
are
being controlled by the Reapers
as that may not be readily known.

Even
interesting little side missions
like the
Krogan wanting sushi
or
Conrad Verner (The Fan from 1) showing up on Illium
should not be revealed ahead of time because it would
totally ruin the game forever.

That being said... who the HELL made all the "Krogen" fish taglines!? It's KrogAn.. KROGAN! With an A! Whoever did all of them had to be the same moron making multiple stupid tags... T_T

I think those are search engine strings that brought people to this thread, not tags.

I find it interesting that the most common query is for Miranda Lawson rule 34. I wonder how many people have arrived at this thread, only to leave horribly disappointed.

I think you mean "pathetic"[/QUOTE]

Nah, I'm not going to judge what other people choose to find sexy and/or whack off to. They're free to enjoy for Miranda Lawson rule 34 if they want.

What I find interesting is that this thread comes up in the search results for Miranda Lawson rule 34 at all, much less the number 1 search result bringing people here.

No problem!

*ahem*

WTF do you mean pathetic you asshole, sitting there judging people, what gives you the right to tell people what they can or cannot search for you pricktard. I'll have you know I have a huge poster on my wall of Miranda Lawson having hot monkey sex with a hanar, I photoshopped it myself. Every night I go to sleep staring at it and then I dream of Miranda and sometimes of the hanar too and it's always a nice dream. Except that one time I accidentally dreamt of Zaeed too, that sucked cause he's totally not hot, but I woke up pretty fast after that so it was ok, but you wouldn't know anything about that because you don't really care about this game or any of the characters enough, right, cause you don't really have fantasies about them like I do, that proves I'm a bigger fan of this game than you are, so there.

How was that?

Nice.

Although y'know that's just gonna bump us higher up on searches for Miranda Lawson Rule 34 . . . so you're gonna have to post a copy of that poster you shopped if you don't want the angry Internutz to burn down halforums.

I'm sure the internet would appreciate it. They've certainly expressed an interest.

AAAH... we get to see what people searched to get here now?

I had not noticed that. alright, so it's random people who are stupid and can't spell "krogan" and the spoilers (at least according to SeriousJay's definition of "spoiler") are in that section, not the actual tags.

My bad.
