Minor victory thread

I think it's a rite of passage or something. It doesn't have to be Oreos specifically, but part of learning not to eat a lot of shitty food can be to have so much of it one night that you just never ever ever want to see it again. Kinda like making a rebellious kid smoke a carton of cigarettes in one evening in front of you.

Well it was more due to me being a little ill to begin with and as a result lazy as hell, so I didn't actually eat anything else all day...

I never used to be able to eat a large pizza myself. Now, I can scarf down one without thinking. Add to that I'm probably the lightest I've been in 10 years, that's a minor victory.

Phone interview for potential job scheduled for Wednesday. Nervous because, like I said, this is one of the top undergraduate schools in the country. I'm honored just to get the phone interview.

My pre-show videos on Blip tv have already made HALF A DOLLAR! Wow! :p

When I finish the actual pilot episode for my show in spanish, maybe I'll earn one full dollar!

(and, let me dream, when I do the first episode of the english version of the show, maybe I'll earn 1'5 dollars. The sky is the limit!)

Had my first day at my new job today, went pretty well. Got my security badge in record time, apparently, and got most of what I needed as well. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.

Finally finish my semester project. It's pretty dumb, but at least it's done.

Sorry, that's also not a Spanish super villain name.

Well... my lemon butter cookies came out delicious. So for Jake's birthday, I have a hard copy of The Divine Comedy, a homemade L4D2 card featuring Ellis rattling off a Keith/birthday story, and delicious homemade treats! Now it's time to take off!

How did Keith end up horribly injured in this story, if you don't mind my asking?

I struck up a conversation with a strange woman last night. Her name was Jennifer and she's a theater arts major.

Didn't ask her for her number, though. Baby steps.

Theater people are strange and usually come in two flavors: "awesome strange" and "whackadoo strange." Choose wisely.

Also, good job.

Dropped 25 pounds over 20 weeks. Doctor wanted the rate to increase (and I can't exercise too well right now with my stupid left foot), so I'm on a medication. Since starting the medication, I've now lost 8 pounds in 10 days. Goal is to keep it going through the holidays.

It was a bit silly... but he somehow acquired a flamethrower and tried to light his birthday candles with it. First it was funny, then it got sad, then it got funny again. Jake laughed, anyway, so mission accomplished. :)
