I got him for Secret Santa. I read his name a Leigha and not Leigh in my assignment...I sent him super girly shit.

It was nearly a year before I figured it out!

I've found the only alcohol I actually enjoy so far is Smirnoff Ice. The green apple flavor is also good but leaves a hint of bad aftertaste. Also, coconut rum mixed with strawberry soda. I think I'll just leave my man card at the door.

The specific brand I've got is Crispin Natural Hard Apple Cider: Honey Crisp. It's a honey/apple combination. My brother got it while he was down in Kentucky, going to the IKEA there. Apparently it's one of those many brands they can't sell here in Ohio due to some law... I guess that's why it was such a big deal when Yuengling opened that new brewery and we can finally get it here.

I don't like apple flavored drinks like apple juice or apple cider but I had a pear cider once I liked Id probably like the hard version too.

I've slowly been finding drinks that I like - anything from good beers to good bourbon - but now the problem is that drinks seem to not like me. Apparently I have an intolerance to alcohol, so if I do anything more than nurse a beer or slowly sip a glass of bourbon or scotch, it looks (and feels) like I've got a nasty sunburn. But then, I'm not much for heavy drinking so nursing a beer now and then or sipping some whiskey isn't so bad.

Minor victory? I think I just dodged a two week sickness! Woke yesterday with a sore throat, and by the time I went to bed I had a fever. Woke around 2.30am and took two aspirin instead of the usual one I would take and I woke for work feeling so much better! Still a little achy all over but at least I don't have a fever!
