Obama releases Long Form birth certificate

Unfortunately, those convinced that he was neither born in Hawaii nor is a US citizen will not be swayed by further evidence to the contrary.

I am getting a chuckle out of the continued conspiracies of FreeRepublic though. He did exactly what they asked and it's not good enough. Exactly why he shouldn't have done it.

I do have some concerns that he did this too early. It feels like Trump forced his hand which just feels disgusting.

To prove that it was the long form, the White House has released pictures of the document taken next to the President's penis, simultaneously proving also that he is black.

That's why they needed the long form.

I honestly don't even know how to respond to the people that don't believe this or that didn't believe the first one.
I am truly at a loss.

I apparently "sound like someone enjoying their handiwork" which is apparently birther-speak for I now being part of the conspiracy. Working in the White House, making fake documents. Sounds like a good job to me.

Fun time from the comments section:

Can you say forged document ?? I know you can !!! There are ( 2 ) videos on youtube one with Barrack saying he was born in Kenya and the other was Michelle saying he was a proud born Kenyan at a black tie function !!
Good job Barry and it only took you 28 months to find {create} it.
Has it occurred to any of you how very easy it is for the US Government to create false documents? Duh? Go back to sleep.
This imposter can have anything made at any time, it only proves just that.
i just saw a video on line where Obama says he was born in Kenya. So i can only assume that one of these is a lie. Based on his books, i would say that this birth certificate is a fake. A video of his speech proclaiming he was born in Kenya, vs a piece of paper and modern technology that can forge anything.
see for yourself
Why requested copies of his original birth certificate ???
Where the *** is the original one ? He is not an american. An american is the one whos born from both american parents on the american land and not on some island from a crook muslim african illegal immigrant.
Both parents must be american born and not alien born in Africa or Russia, or Asia.
In one word: FORGERY!!!! If it were genuine, he surely would have released it FAR EARLIER!!!!
Its not a BIRTH CERTIFICATE its a CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH
Barrack hussein obama, is the first degree cousin of sadam hussein, and osama binladen is also third degree cousin of Sadam Hussein. Now there is no doubt America's President is a TERRORIST....
Obama’s father was born in Kenya, which is confirmed on the document released by the White House today, makes Obama ineligible to become president because he is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States.

“Some of the cases challenging Obama have explained that he was a dual citizen through his father at his birth, and they contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born citizens,” meaning that the document released by the White House today could even lead to proving Obama’s ineligibility.

HA HA HA ! Now the've done it , the stupid Democrats .

Heh. Interesting theory.

What surprise me (well not really) that people are THAT stupid to believe that a guy, who ran for senator and now is the President. That NO ONE before ever thought about it? never discover it? oh come on!! it would have been all over tabloid when he was a Senator of Chicago saying that he was illegal alien before THEN!

You would think the GOP wouldn't have hired private investigator or use FBI to find out? bleh.

#20

Covar

That's always bugged me to Chibi. Especially when you have AZ going of and voting on a bill to check (while overboard) the legality of a presidential candidate to be on their ballot. Surely the entire country doesn't operate on a good faith policy when it comes to our elected officials. That would be as crazy as one of the largest blogging networks storing user passwords as plain text on an unencrypted database...

I'm off to research, and fear my search-fu is going to get tangled in birther sites.

America is a cool land, but your Mass Media is fucking crazy. From what I can catch, most of it is fearmongering,half-truths and full lies.
How can any sensible person doubt that their own President isn't an American? Jeez. You need a Birthcertificate (if the application standarts are similar to the ones we have in Germany) to get an Passport,a ID,
Insurance, ect. and in all those years that Obama, lived none of those Agencys asked him once to present that piece of paper? Ofcourse they did! I really dont get those conspiracy nuts.

#22

Adam

Adammon

I don't think it's that they doubt he's an American, it's that they don't want him as their President - so they're going to try and find ways to remove him. Not very different from "Selected not Elected" President Bush and Citizens Arrests on Cheney, for example.

#23

Chad Sexington

Chad Sexington

Well... People who are American citizens but born outside of America can still get passports, insurances, ID, etc... I'm not supporting the Birthers by ANY stretch, but just by virtue of having those things, does not prove a birth certificate is an American one, just that one is a citizen. I again stress that none of this means I doubt or ever doubted his American...ness.

And there's a reason that a (half) black man named Barack Hussein Obama is the first president to have this become an issue. I am absolutely certain a large part of this birther stupidity is fueled by good ol' fashioned racism. I'm sure many of the birthers don't care about the birth certificate, they just think he's too "foreign looking" or something.

There it is. They tried to scare people with his middle name during the campaign. They tried to tie him to every dirty Chicago figure in the city. They condemned him because of his (quite nutty) pastor. They tried to claim he was trying to be "more black", as if that would scare people.

They tried. They failed. He's the POTUS, so now they try this. And every media-whore moron with a bad haircut is trying out these idiotic lines.

It's the same with all the sexism and ageism on the democrat side. After all what other reason could there have been for all the attacks on McCain and Palin?

Trumps hair must be real for no other reason than the man could afford a good toupee.

There's a difference between being critical and being downright absurd. This birth certificate thing, it's downright absurd. Dislike him all you want for his policies. Even I hate some of the policy stances he's taken.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, has shown time and again she knows shit about anything. Who the hell quits as Governor just to make money and be a pundit and have a reality show? She was a terrible pick for VP and most of the McCain staffers agreed. It was George Bush all over again, and most of America had enough of that.

Nevermind all that crap, it has been shown time and again that birthers are always wrong when it comes to this issue.

#35

Chibibar

Yep, and every critic of Obama is a racist, after all what other reason could there be?
I believe that the birthers are pretty much racist at this point. Has ANY OTHER president (up until now all been white) had this many issues with Birth Certificate? I don't remember any of the president "required" as much as Obama did.

#39

Tress

Tress

Silly me, I didn't realize that all of that is just crazy birther conspiracy.
Here's how I read it:
There it is. [Racists] tried to scare people with his middle name during the campaign. [Racists] tried to tie him to every dirty Chicago figure in the city. [Racists] condemned him because of his (quite nutty) pastor. [Racists] tried to claim he was trying to be "more black", as if that would scare people.
The first point is racist (Oooh! He's has a terrorist sounding name!). The second one is probably the only one that didn't have to do with race. The third one goes back to the racism (Oooh! His firebrand pastor means Obama wants to start a race war/oppress white people/whatever). The last one is even more obvious.

I'm pretty sure Zappit was talking about racist douchebags in the country, not all people who dislike Obama. They tend to give more rational complaints relating to policy.

Not sure why there's so much hubbub about his "real" birth certificate being posted, when it was posted way back during the election:

But to be serious...I'm sick of hearing about this from the Birthers. It makes me sad and angry that there are this many people who fall into selective reasoning, often due to simple racism, for a legitimately elected president.

On the bright side, I liked that he did this when Trump was about to give another speech.

What the hell is wrong with politicians? If you did some dodgey like dodge the draft, or seduce an intern, or use drugs, COME CLEAN ABOUT IT. Hiding it only makes you look guilty when it inevitably comes to light. Honestly, most Americans don't give a shit about this stuff until you hide it.

At the very least you shouldn't base your entire campaign on accusing someone else of lying about their past and accusing them of being un-American, all the while hiding some embarrassing skeletons in your own closet. I know hypocrisy is par for the course with these guys, but to do it on such an epic scale as this makes you into little more than a joke.

Or who voted against McCain because he was old... but even then no one actually brought up the fact that he was born in Panama...

EDIT: And if i wanted to be accurate i'd say that it's "as many people got out and bothered to vote because of Obama's race"... because let's be honest, none of those people would have voted Republican in the 1st place.

The dinner would have been at 4pm. It would open with a clip montage from Golden Girls and Gran Torino, followed by a quick end so McCain could go to bed at a decent hour (7:30, after watching Jeopardy!)

I've always said this was a dead end road to go down. Such a colossal waste of time and energy these people have inflicted upon us all. I do wonder why it took so long, but it seems to me if I remember correctly, Obama would still have been a natural born citizen even if he HAD been born in Kenya, since he had a parent who was a US citizen who had lived in the US for at least 10 years.

Really, there's plenty of other reasons to oppose Obama's presidency, without trying to delve into technicalities or putting on the tinfoil hats.

I suspect it took so long because:

1) From the state of Hawaii's perspective, it would be like showing a gov-agency your driver's license to prove who you are after you showed them your passport with its verifiable barcode and picture.

2) The serious conspiracy nuts would never have believed it anyway. I still don't know why he bothered in the first place.

Besides, DC has already declared the event discanon after less than a week. Which is a shame, because it made a lot of sense in light of things. I have an uncle who thinks the long form BC has provided ironclad proof that Obama is ineligible to be president, no matter how much sense the rest of us try to talk to him. He thinks that because his father was a foreign national, and it is officially listed so on the form, that makes him not a "natural born" citizen, end of story. Our pointing out of Chester A. Arthur's precedent (his father was an irish national) has fallen on deaf ears. It's exasperating.
