I really wanted to go VS as I was straight VS for my many years in PS1 but a friend of mine joined up with BWC on TR so I was like faaawwwwkkkk! And joined them.
I like most of it. Some of it not so much. Guns take too long to earn with certs. It's pretty buggy. Last night proximity voice chat didn't work (thank goodness squad chat still did). It takes forever to boot up... the loading bar goes from 0-98 in a half second and then it sits there for 5 minutes. Last night I couldn't get my sunderer to deploy for love or money. Other similar annoyances....so it sounds like you guys like this game.
I read a post somewhere where they described increasing their graphics settings and it actually increasing their FPS.I like most of it. Some of it not so much. Guns take too long to earn with certs. So, last night I also found out I still run the game smooth on high settings, and it doesn't affect my crashes. I had turned all the graphics down to low to try to maximize play time between crashes, but last night I said "screw it let's try this" and turned most things up to high (still left shadows on low, etc). Got probably my longest play session yet. I notice that when it crashes, it's almost always immediately after a death. I don't crash every time I die.. but every time I crash, it seems to be as the camera changes postmortem.
I'm wondering if it's really a memory limitation issue.
No, that's what I meant. I don't think it's because XP32's memory limit is too low, it's something else, because it always happens immediately on character death. You can't tell me that the act of dying suddenly causes a great demand for memory. Also I really doubt your memory is the problem. I think it's much more likely that your having problems because you are runnin XP32x
Well, what I mean is, I don't experience any performance issues. It works beautifully right up until all of a sudden it crashes. You did do the alt + f thing to show your fps and bottleneck right? It will specifically say [CPU] or whatever in the bottom led corner under the minimal
