Okay, I guess you misunderstood. I wasn't questioning your spelling, I just wasn't sure if the way I usually have spelled it was right. (sp?) is something I've always used to say 'hey I don't know if I spelled this right.' Apologies.

Fuuuuuck. My opinion of a friend if mine changed pretty drastically yesterday. This normally wouldn't be so bad except that he's such a big part of my group of friends. Everything I'm invited to he'll be invited to as well. He's even a roommate to my other good friends in the area so if I go hang with them today he'll probably be there.
I should probably just avoid that house until it blows over? I've got other things I should be doing anyway I guess.

Wow. I can't really follow up after that, but I am extremely annoyed. Someone stole my nice $200 HJC helmet that perfectly matched my motorcycle color scheme and backpack right off my bike at the university gym last night. I mean, they tell us to park motorcycles right next to the front door, so someone did it in plain sight of everyone. I've been leaving it on my seat-back for 3 years now, and someone decided last night they'd like to have it. So I had to get my wife to load up the bathed and pajamaed kids to come bring me my crappy backup helmet. I filed a police report, but what good will that do. The silver lining is that it's probably someone who goes there regularly, and they may have video of whodunit.
I'm sorry, FLP...a friend of mine's uncle died of cancer recently, and I agree. It's far too quick, even when you're able to say good-bye.

After a pretty bad day today, I read the paper and found out that Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece, Alveda King, spoke at my University last night about abortion, is pro-life, and has anti-gay sentiments. I was already annoyed, then dug a little deeper and just wanted to rage.
She's claimed her uncle, MLK Jr., was a staunch Republican and pro-life when his track record was Democratic and a documented supporter of Planned Parenthood. She claimed that Rosa Parks, despite serving on an advisory board in Planned Parenthood, was a leader in the pro-life movement. She's claimed that homosexuality can't be elevated to a civil rights issue because she argues it's a biblical issue and that, "To equate homosexuality with race is to give a death sentence to civil rights." (Link).
Fucking hate-filled woman hiding behind the banner of her uncle's legacy.

I know a LOT of Catholics. None of them believe this exactly. Catholics are the epitome of pick & choose religious beliefs. No, that's not a dig on Catholics, but of their archaic and illogical (read as against most Human nature) views of how people should act.

Well... crap. So, been unemployed for a little over a year now, since my previous employer dissolved around me. Been looking for work (seriously looking, not just occasionally putting in an app or two), I'd say I've applied a few thousand times for jobs. I've had one call back, worked a few temp gigs at Microsoft, and received a grand total out of all of those apps of 5 rejection letters, and not heard back from anyone else. I'm out of time, I'm out of money, and I'm having to seriously consider moving (with my fiance, two cats, and full apartment) back to Wisconsin to live with my parents. There are more jobs available there, that's good, right? Yeah... I didn't think so either.

Hmm no i stand by people getting divorced as a special breed of asshole. I guess it's mostly because of the way their petty selfishness hurt their children in those cases.
What about childless divorcees in no-fault dissolution states like Washington? It sure as hell made my divorce easy, especially since my ex didn't even bother to show up. Though, it would have been interesting to be in an at-fault dissolution state and have her try to introduce evidence that I failed to support her to a level commensurate to that at which her parents supported her. It would have been funny as hell asking her in court to please show the pre-nuptial document that stated that I would continue to support her $400/wk pot habit.

On the plus side, I finally have a few job contacts, and probably won't have to move to Wisconsin in the next two weeks. On the negative side, following my successful wisdom tooth extraction of week before last, I have apparently strained every single (external) muscle right of my spine and above mid-back while unconsciously over-compensating for the pain/jaw strain that the abscessed tooth caused. I haven't been able to sleep without the use of Hydrocodone for a week, and can't get in to see my LMT until Saturday afternoon. Also, I can't take NSAIDs.

Starting Wednesday of next next, I was suppose to do some long-term subbing for my mother's math classes because she is getting her stomach stapled. Was going to be three weeks worth of work, which is a big deal for me. The principal waits until today to tell my mom that I CAN'T sub long-term for her because it would be a conflict of interest. WHAT?! FUCKING SERIOUSLY?! That's bullshit! So now all the lesson planning my mom made for me for those weeks are out the door because the district is now going to get someone she doesn't know to cover the three weeks. I'm so damned pissed right now, not only for myself but my mom as well!
