Good reports from the doctor! Medication taking well, tendon healing well, and actually lost 10 pounds over the holiday season.

I feel like celebrating, but I don't want to gorge on junk food. :p

Got a job interview today. Six-month substitution at a high school, 12-18 hours per week plus travels.

Got a call in the afternoon.

I GOT THE JOB!! :)

It's a bit in the sticks, meaning I spend about 2 1/2 hours commuting everyday, but I have Mondays off and the students are apparently in the brighter end of the spectrum. It's a strictly temporary job, but hey, six months worth of experience goes a long way when looking for a permanent placement :)

Now if you will excuse me, I must perform the Gainful Employment Dance.

By the way, XenForo is supposed to be able to handle OMFG LARGE threads. So this thread and others like it are going to be allowed to go on FOREVER...unless they were wrong and it degrades performance.

Six of them! You Mormons. I know it's a stereotype but I have a friend with like eight siblings. THAT IS TOO MANY SIBLINGS. I can barely handle two, and one of them doesn't even live with me anymore!

Seriously though, congrats, that is exciting! I assume the original ones will be old enough to outsource some parenting to soon enough, sparing you the trouble :p

Five hours of cleaning, twining wire, and a lot of hassle, and now we've got the two rat cages lashed into one towering monstrosity: the Megacage, capable of housing the three brothers together. I'm beat, but it was a big accomplishment.

Just found out that vBulletin has started having some major difficulties with Spam. Seems that their registration protection has a huge and so far unfixed hole in it that allows spammers to go right through. We started seeing it a little bit before we moved but since the move it's become an epidemic for vBulletin users.

While I feel really, really sorry for the board owners I must chuckle with evil glee at the trials and tribulations of that terrible company.

Dave I bet you were the worst bitchiest exboyfriend ever. When you are using a company or program you are all "this is great. I love it etc etc" the second something better comes along "that program doesn't please me and never did!"

Nope. I never would have even looked at anything else until vB started screwing me around. Hell, I still use RealJukebox! It works and I don't feel the need to use anything different. I have iTunes but that's only because my iPod won't sync with anything else.

So take THAT, missy!

Apparently you can work it with WinAmp. So I'm going to try that, although I'm not sure why using that third party software is better than Apple's third party software.
