Vapid chick flicks and eating ice cream (while my kids are asleep so they can't have any which is why it's a guilty pleasure).

Moulin Rouge, movie, soundtrack, Nicole Kidman in lingerie, you name it.That's really not a secret though. At one time, I could do a passable imitation of Ewan McGregor singing most of the songs in the movie.

For the most part, if I enjoy something, I don't feel any reason to feel guilty about it. I guess the exception is laughing at videos of people getting hurt on the internet, but only because I frequently don't know how seriously they were injured. Still, it's the definition of comedy.

Mel Brooks said:
Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die.

Movies: Kung Pow, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, What Women Want. Also, I actually like romantic comedies, even if they're formulaic as hell.

TV: Power Rangers (really enjoying Linkara's series by series reviews), Boy Meets World

Comics: Ultimates (1 & 2). It's like a big dumb action flick with lotsa shit blowing up.

Books: Wrestling autobiographies. Mick Foley and Bret Hart's are both really well written and I find myself re-reading them several times.

Music: Bryan Adam, Musicals. Though with musicals, not all of them. RENT, Whedon's musicals (Buffy & Dr. Horrible) and Avenue Q.

There are a lot of posts in this thread that make me glad I live my life and enjoy my pastimes openly and without irony.

I thought the Matrix sequels weren't bad. Nowhere close to as good as the original, but not as bad as most people say.

Also, Star Wars Episodes 2 & 3 were not THAT bad, discounting all romance scenes & any/all appearances of Jarjar.

Most of the movies that guy with glasses hates I like.

Surf Ninjas for the win.

I have a friend that will defend Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skulls. His defense is "Go back and watch Temple of Doom and tell me it's not the same level as Crystal Skulls."

I'm still not convinced.

I love Lebanese/Arabic food... so often I'm on the road and if I see a place, odds are, I'm going there... baklava is so yummy... but... so fattening. At least the sodium and cals are resonable. And they make me sleepy too. :)

I've only had walmart baklava and it was ok but I cant imagine it was very good. It was so rich. Yikes.

Yeah, you'll not get the good stuff unless you hit a small diner/resto who only cooks this type of cuisine or an ethnic bakery. The best though comes from my mother-in-law and her hummus, god damn. Get that woman away from me. :)
