Looter? I hardly know 'er!
I appreciate that he’s grown as a character more than most of them. He’s died, come back, and found ways to motivate and make use of all of his team over the years. With Belkar especially he’s been more than willing to hear him out and trust him more, especially via Durkacula incident. He even got confirmation long ago that his influence has severely hampered Belkar’s evil, where without him he’d have probably gone on an unstoppable killing spree.
That and the knowledge that Belkar is not long for this world.
Plus that stab did what? Hurt him for 1d6 damage? Roy’s fine.
It's not the worst thing that's happened to him today.
More like 2d6 because surprise, but yeah.

I’m reminded of that each morning. He did fail to kill a toad he brought in last week, left it alive in the bathroom, wife saw it and thought it was dead, but when she came to tell me and for me to get it out of the house it had hopped off into our bedroom where I eventually found it.
Sorry to revive this thread without a new comic (another couple of hopes dashed), but I'm just wondering - it's been a relatively long time now, even for Rich. OotS has never been the most regular in updating and I don't mind as the quality is always there, but has there been any post on social media (I don't follow X/Bluesky/Threads/Truth/Instagram/whatever) about anything that might be causing this? He's had issues with his wrists before, there could be personal issues, or it might just be a long wait because of Halloween and Thanksgiving or because the next update is Super Epic Splash Screen With Lots of Moving Parts - or nothing specific at all. Just wondering if anyone's heard/seen anything.
Surprisingly I don’t think this has been the longest hiatus the comic has ever had. I haven’t seen any new updates.
it definitely is one of the downsides to a comic this good is the time between pages.
I’m just glad we got that one stretch of comics that were updated almost daily when Durkon was being turned into a Vampire. I’ll take the internet victories where we can get them.
