Does anyone remember the asteroid level of Star Fox? Cause there were these enemies that looked like bees and would shoot multi-colored spiral-y rings at you. But more specifially do you remember the noise they made? Anyway, I ask because there's a song that my co-worker listens to (I think it's on the radio really) and the outro sounds like that noise! Like bees shooting spiral-y rings of color at you! My instinct is to do a barrel roll evertime I hear it.

Ah Star Fox, conditioning people to do barrel rolls, be annoyed at frogs, and think birds are jerks since 1997.

Coincidentally I was watching the Game Grumps playthroughs of Star Fox 64 just the other night. They made me so IRRITATED. Arin was SO BAD. He didn't boost. He didn't brake. He didn't roll. He constantly shot his wingmen.

I know they have this thing where they never read any onscreen information if they can help it, but seriously, it was sanity-wrenching to watch the flailing badness of the playthrough.

What is this song? I must try to see if my friend has been similarly conditioned.

So the OKC girl I messaged about not knowing enough of her details but wanting to break the ice anyway has not responded to me. In my mind she's upset about ruining the mystery and wants to remain a unique and mysterious snowflake. :)

Other possibilities include: secretly a man, or died while typing her profile and is a ghost.

I am meeting an OKC person tomorrow! I hope she is not a ghost.

I'm meeting one next week. :) an OKC girl, not a ghost. :(

My hope is that tomorrow I get hired for this other job I applied to, which would start on May 27th, and then I just straight-up quit this contract job and take a few weeks off in between to paint and chat up girls on the internet. :)

I often times wonder if I'm a ghost. Or that my brain was put into that of a synthoid body that is identical my real one in every way which would explain my high iron content. Whichever one helps me fight the reptilians better.

Today's a good day, guys. I think I might ask June to marry me.

Lets see:

Terrik Is it traditional in China to wear the engagement ring on the right hand? I'm so used to seeing them on the left hand, but I recently learned that there are cultures, including in "the west" that wear them on the right hand.

*looks back at picture*

Huh. *ahem*, I think I was too nervous at the time to notice which hand I was putting it on. She's wearing it on the left now, lawl.

Although, further research indicates as far as wedding rings are concerned, a Chinese tradition includes a man wearing a wedding ring on the left hand, while the woman wears hers on the right to symbolize ying and yang.

Terrik what...is that gold thing sitting in a spoon?
I..I'm not really sure. I poked it once and it was clearly had some sort of skin-like texture. I decided to plop the whole thing in my mouth and I'm sure the look on my face must have been hilarious as it exploded in watery sweetness.

switching to random crap instead of full-on rant...

Mom is at Healthsouth for inpatient rehab & physical therapy. Will be there for 7-10 days. Which is good because she regressed a bit after the first knee replacement due to blood pressure medication. Caused major swelling in legs and feet, and lots of pain. Docs took her off that and put her on diuretics. Lost nearly 20lbs of fluid in about 3-4 weeks.

Main thing we learned is that the food SUCKS. She sent my sister out for BBQ instead of the rubbery cheese "pizza" they wanted to give her.
