Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... a local combination restaurant/laundromat (yes, that's a thing) has started belittling people who don't wash their clothes in their restaurant, by saying in their radio ad "that's why people take pictures of you when you go to walmart."

:awesome:

Peopleofwalmart.com is officially mainstream.

From 70 degrees yesterday to a snow day today. /Colorado

I have no idea how much snow we've actually gotten, but it was pouring rain last night before it turned to snow, so at the very least roads are probably shittastic.

Looked that way on some live footage that we just saw on Headline News.

Still debating if I want to get out of bed, though the wind howling and rattling my windows is a big con to staying in bed.

I finally got out of bed, I guess I should eat and help shovel this crap. It's still coming down, big wet flakes.
So you're saying I might should probably pack a pair of long pants for next week?

(Boy, that was a really Texan sentence. Conditional syntax ahoy!)

Who the fuck knows. It could be 70 again tomorrow for all I know. :p

But my forecast does say more snow on Saturday.

Keep in mind, we weren't expecting snow today until yesterday afternoon when it was still 70.

That, and weather in the front range ain't always indicative of the weather in Grand Junction, I 'spose.

My flaky colorado friend just sent me a text "Snow Day L4D in 30 mins?" I'm like "Bitch did you forget I live in Texas? It's 80 degrees here! I'm at work!"

There was a foot of wet heavy snow on the driveway, but everything is already starting to melt, so I'm sure once the plows get around roads will be perfectly clear tomorrow. Of course, snow is still in the forecast for Saturday.

Well whatever it is, the computer just died. It's either the motherboard or the power supply. I can't afford to buy both and I don't know which it is. Fuck me.

Can you borrow a PSU to test? Are you friends with any of the IT guys at your job? If it's anything like any of the companies/workplaces I've been at, they've got junk machines they could tear a shitty PSU from to lend you. It might not have enough juice for everything on your computer, but if you unplug enough components from the mobo you should be able to see if you can get it running.

I'm actually going to set up a paperclip test this weekend. But what really sucks is it's also my Plex server so I can't watch any movies right now.

Just sent in 5 job applications. I guarantee the one that responds is the one not in my field (social work), but where I have experience (clerical/accounting). *disgusted noise*
