So, with Canada Post locked out, Amazon.ca is using Fed Ex for deliveries. As an accidental Amazon Prime member (forgot to cancel after the free trial), I still get all dat free shipping. So I'm ordering tiny items, one at a time, each day. Stuff I wanted but was gonna order at some point. Bought some new HDMI cables. A switch. Some comics. A new PS4 controller and such. LOSE MONEY ON SHIPPING YOU SONS A BITCHES! I'm gonna get that moneys worth for this shit.
They are not locked out YET from what the latest I've read, though it looks rather likely for a strike and/or lockout.

Amazon's contract with the shipping company is likely a fixed value which doesn't change much based on the number of items they ship. They know their monthly average volume and they just pay a fixed amount per month for everything that's shipped.
So amazon isn't paying more for your items. If anything, FedEx might be losing money, but your small purchases are likely lost in the noise of thousands or tens of thousands of items shipped daily already.

Did he rant at his microphone, or speak bad poetry, distracting from the rest of the band's performance? I don't remember him doing it when I saw them ages ago, but I can't watch their concert DVD I have because of that crap.
