The guys from the cantina are easily the worst random Star Wars cameo ever.This. Plus the TERRRRRRIBLE callbacks to the old movies. Really out of place.
I loved them in Space Quest. The guys from the cantina are easily the worst random Star Wars cameo ever.
That was so disappointing. It was like c'mon movie, you were doing so well, you don't have to do this. The guys from the cantina are easily the worst random Star Wars cameo ever.
The whole Red Squadron ending battle is recycled dialog from A New Hope, all but shouting "REMEMBER THIS LINE! REMEMBER THIS ONE? DO YOU???"That was so disappointing. It was like c'mon movie, you were doing so well, you don't have to do this.
Revenge of the Sith? And you know what, fuck that Darth Vader part at the end. In what Star Wars movie did that EVER look like something he'd do?
A lot of the "keep politics out of -blank-" people don't seem to realize that everything they've ever loved has politics and they were just too young to realize it too. It's kind of infuriating; there is basically nothing you can say to someone who isn't willing to examine their own opinions. It's funny watching Empire today. It has a lot of repeated fanservicy bits to the first movie (our odds of survival, force choking), the kind of stuff people complain about with the new movies, but Empire is revered anyway because everyone saw it when they were little.
I don't know if I have a point; just something I noticed.
Heck, you can go all the way back to Hans Christian Andersen or even Æsop and there's still stuff in there that could be considered "political" (or at least classist).everything they've ever loved has politics and they were just too young to realize it
That's true, and it leads to my thinking I need to keep my eyes off all Star Wars discussions. It adds zero value to my life.A lot of the "keep politics out of -blank-" people don't seem to realize that everything they've ever loved has politics and they were just too young to realize it too. I’ve loved all of the DC Universe shows so far. Here’s hoping WB doesn’t try to merge DC Universe into their own streaming app and screw it all up.
The first season of Titans was one of the best portrayals of Dick Grayson, ever, and I'm really excited for season two. The whole cast is fantastic, the writing is excellent, and I think it did a good job of striking the right balance between gritty realism and the hope that comic book heroes are supposed to provide.
Wait, a Disney sequel that ISN'T direct to video?!Another Frozen 2 Trailer:
You're too late with this joke.Wait, a Disney sequel that ISN'T direct to video?!
Not to mention The Incredibles 2.You're too late with this joke.
Wreck it Ralph 2 was literally just last year.

Bob Iger Resigns From Apple Board of Directors, Says Disney Would Have Combined With Apple if Steve Jobs Were Still AliveWell, Pixar is owned by Disney. Just like everything else is excpet [sic] Sony.
Yes but so are lots of other things. It is still Disney, not Fox, Blue Sky, Searchlight Pictures, Marvel Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Touchstone Pictures, or Buena Vista that is known for direct to video sequels.Well, Pixar is owned by Disney. Just like everything else is excpet Sony.
