[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

I liked A Knight's Tale. :(
For the record, I don't hate all of the movie, but I really hated how they used the music. And whatever the fuck they were trying to do with Shannyn Sossamon. But Heath Ledger, Paul Bettany, Alan Tudyk, and Mark Addy? Yes please, and thank you!

I hope Jiang Wen's character isn't as grim throughout the movie as he's depicted in the trailer, because he's actually quite a funny guy. Let the Bullets Fly is my favorite Chinese comedy movie, partly because of his ability to seamlessly swap between deadpan and slapstick.

... and thus come the Boomer horror movies, featuring young Millennial kids as the villains. Gee, I wish I had the time and money to stalk a rich, white guy and justify his ability to blame an entire generation for the problems he created as a millionaire!

Reminds me of that movie with the evil technology that's taken a lady hostage... there's a young guy in it...damnit, it was so forgettable I can't remember what it is.

Also, The Blues Brothers.
The Blues Brothers is both the Ur-Example of Jukebox Musicals and it's Reconstruction.

- Music genre is little represented in pop culture (at the time, less so now)
- Music is performed by actual blues/R&B musicians (even if Akroyd and Belushi also sing)
- More than one genre represented
- Female artists shown as much respect as male artists

It's really one of the best Jukebox Musicals. I'm REALLY surprised no one has turned this into a Broadway musical yet.

My guess is they'll work in lots of jokes like OT Yoda and MacGregor Obi-Wan.[DOUBLEPOST=1471354543,1471354313][/DOUBLEPOST]
1 December, please.

There's some rendering error at about 0:12 with the ships approaching the Star Destroyer from beneath. I'm sure it's just early CGI.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it annoying when scientists are hyperconfident in their own abilities in movies? I don't know--to me, that's a hallmark of bad science, not good.

Realistic science, and most tech disciplines, rarely make for good screen drama

With willful ignorance like the anti vax movement on the rise, I'm surprised more scientists aren't screaming themselves hoarse.
