I hope he got paid a lot for that review, because I have had zero interest in Dragon Quest other than the first one on NES 30+ years ago... and this video got me to put it in my steam wishlist to watch for a sale (I mean, it IS still 60 bucks... NO single player title gets that kinda money out of me anymore).Might not be news, but damn if this isn't teh most awesome review ever:
Congrats, you got a mention in the next video:and this video got me to put it in my steam wishlist to watch for a sale

Most of teh complaints seem to be about the stuff that's clearly cut-and-paste from D:OS, because the people in that sub don't seem to understand what pre-alpha means.DOS looks like BG polished up, though. Do they want shittier graphics or something? I mean, BG 2 came out 20 years ago.
I should really work on not vomiting when I try to play games like this on VR.Gameplay videos form Half-Life: Alyx
DAMN, this is going to sell some VR headsets.
Worry more about what you're going to do when you get your first VR headcrab.I should really work on not vomiting when I try to play games like this on VR.
I'm going to scream, throw myself on the ground, and cry. Just like playing Subnautica but 100x worse.Worry more about what you're going to do when you get your first VR headcrab.

I honestly think E3 was dead before the coronavirus, what with so many presenters and companies pulling out, something was going on behind the scenes. The pandemic is just a convenient reason for them to finally call the whole thing off.I doubt this will hurt the games industry a great deal, honestly. E3 has been slowly losing its impact over the years, especially in this modern age where a trailer is posted minutes after it's shown in a conference. There's almost no need anymore for E3. Nintendo figured that out years ago with Nintendo Direct and we've seen more publishers choose not to attend, even long before Corona was even a thing.
Showed above post to my wife. This talk was amazing:
