Aw man I forgot all about Apple Geeks, been forever since that time travel arc.
Now you know how the group got its name.I just noticed that the OOTS website made a poor choice with the image of Roy in the banner. Or maybe I just have a dirty mind.
If he was dead, we'd have gotten an announcement. All we know is that Thunt went to the hospital for something. So, two things:
First, what in the hell is going on with Goblins? Did he die or something? The last blog post was made by someone else.
Second, I just noticed that the OOTS website made a poor choice with the image of Roy in the banner. Or maybe I just have a dirty mind.
I have never felt so much suspense for a web-comic based on alternate child versions of DC characters.
Blue beetle and booster gold?A quick question on JL8: back in strip 160, who were the two kids on the park bench with the dandelions?
Same here! I started in '99 and it's been the first comic I read every morning ever since. I miss the silly strips, but I think I also hang in there because I've met Pete at cons and he is such a nice, funny guy. At this point, I know the end is coming, so I'm willing to hang in there through the drier stuff.Sluggy Freelance was my first online strip and now, many, many years later I still can't drop it from my daily read list, even during the points where it is less interesting, and approaches annoying. Funny conversations like this keep me around, I guess:

Or better yet...Damn straight- SET HIM ABLAZE ANNIE!
I would assume the eight year old with a widow's peak is actually Sinestro. Kyle may be too young to be part of the "scouts" yet.So we have Kyle, Hal, Guy, and John... I'm assuming the adult is supposed to be Alan Scott. So now we're just waiting for the kid with the sunburn for Sinestro?
I liked his art before but I think he's really improved it. Humor is definitely the same (which I dig).Clay Yount, who previously wrote Rob and Elliot, has come back with Hamlet's Danish. There's only a few of them so far, but you'll either like them or not, if you aren't already familiar with his work:

Each comic has a subscript, so scroll down.
I know that feeling from about 4 months ago.I've just ploughed through ALL of Dumbing of Age. I'm a little depressed that clicking to the next comic no longer magically takes me to the next comic.
Just discovered it myself. Glad he's back in the comics game again. I love me some absurdity.Clay Yount, who previously wrote Rob and Elliot, has come back with Hamlet's Danish.
