Weird weather

Sure hope nobody lives near Tallahassee, or else you're prepared if you do.

@Ravenpoe is probably going to get tropical storm conditions. Though, as he has said, this isn't his first rodeo, so I'm sure he is prepared.

The wind field is almost big enough for tropical storm conditions here, on the far side of the state.

Going to the gulf coast exactly a month from today. Hope the place we’re renting is still there…

This isn't even the first hurricane to hit me this year. I'm just not looking forward to the near guaranteed power outage.

I've heard people talking about how NC got hit hard, but since I'm not a media junkie, I have not been inundated by feeds about it. I WILL say that I've heard more people talking about NC than I have about FL, for what that's worth.

LGR (Lazy Game Reviews) is one of those who suffered damage from the hurricane.

A tree fell on his house, and damaged at least some of his retro gaming collection.

Have you guys ever played the Sonic the Hedgehog games? You know how Sonic can spin up in place to build up energy, and then he suddenly goes charging forward, barreling through everything in his path?

There's a typhoon approaching Taiwan from the south. We've seen it coming for at least three days now. Except right now it's pretty much stopped just off the southern coast of Taiwan, spinning in place and building up moisture and energy.

And then soon, likely tomorrow, it's going to suddenly go charging northwards like Sonic the Hedgehog, barreling through Taiwan.

Texas to connect to the national grid after federal grant
I guess that means that now, technically, some of my solar system can be said to be feeding ALL your houses, too! Not just my fellow Texans. I thank you for your contribution to the 11.5 cents per killowatt hour that I put back on the now-national grid.

You ain't feeding my house nothing I tell you!

Speaking of weird weather, I currently have rain approaching form two directions -- from Milton on the West and from the tropical depression that is trying to form off of Florida on the East.
