@Celt Z I don’t know if you saw my post to Cobra, but there’s a new-ish feature where you can join raids remotely without an invite. You just need to sort your friends list by “at a raid,” and if anyone is you can tap on them and join with a remote raid pass. A convenient option if raid hours don’t work for you.

Pokemon Go Tour event in Taipei this weekend. I couldn't be bothered to buy a ticket, but apparently lots of people did.

Pokemon Go has been sold to Scopely for $3.5 billion. (Technically Niantic has been sold.)

This will unleash massive enshittification on the game, as Scopely is the worst offender for forced ads, pay to win, and a predatory loot box system so uniquely horrible they own a patent on it.

I’m transferring stuff over to Home - in case it gets severed or if microtransactions get slapped onto that.

If I'm understanding right, Scopely is also owned by the Saudi government, so even aside from the gameplay impacts there might be reasons to want to walk away.
