YTV is a passion to keep updated, though. I mean, I use it too, but every few days seemingly it'll start offering up ads anyway. Plus, it doesn't play well with click-through links (a YT video link in whatsapp or this forum will launch regular YT app instead of Vanced, and I haven't discovered how to change that on my phone yet).Ublock origin for desktop, YouTube vanced for mobile.
Only time I use Youtube on mobile is when I'm in bed at night and want to cast something to the bedroom TV.Yeah, I rarely watch youtube on mobile anyway. I don't see the point on a tiny screen with tiny speakers that sound like crap to me but definitely annoy everybody within a 10 yard radius.
"yes sir, I absolutely understand your frustration, half an hour waiting time is not acceptable. We really do strive to do better. We would most certainly prefer to have enough colleagues to provide you with the support you deserve. Please feel free to send a complaint to the manager responsible for our current understaffed status at 123@123.com.*sits down at work computer*
*logs on for pre-shift*
*sees queue is around 100 and average wait time is over 30 minutes*
Sooooo...gonna be one of those days, huh? Lots of customers who will first need to rant about the wait time, thus wasting more of my time.
Like, I get it. Long wait times are aggravating. But don't take it out on the low end call center employee who's just trying to do their job. We have no control over this.
On the train, on my bike (sounds only obvs), on the toilet, while just waiting for five minutes while the wife is in the bathroom,...Only time I use Youtube on mobile is when I'm in bed at night and want to cast something to the bedroom TV.

Is this some kind of Europe joke I'm too American to understand? On the train, on my bike
Ain't got no pocket space for that shit, and cables just break and tangle and Bluetooth batteries never last enough. There's been a rather revolutionary invention done, it's called headphones
Can you give a link to your bone conductivity headphones? I've been interested in them, but I have no idea which brand might be good.On the train, on my bike (sounds only obvs), on the toilet, while just waiting for five minutes while the wife is in the bathroom,...

I wear my bone conductivity ones for hours on end, including during work with my phone headset on top

thanks! Pricey but I've stuck them on my list for later purchaseAir

I'm quite happy with my Trekz Air from Aftershokz. I get better battery life than they claim, even after more than a year of intensive use.
Quality is pretty good, though obviously it suffers in the bass department.
I got them at €80 or €90 in a sale. I'm actually surprised they're still soldat the same price point, they've introduced some newer models so I expected a bit of a drop. Their newer stuff tends to miss something I want, though, depending on model (smaller battery, not wireless, whatever, depending on brand).thanks! Different reasons, and a long time ago, but I can truly relate. But that's a story for a different time, I'm focusing on the fun times back then atm.Yeah I watch things on my phone while I'm on the MRT during my commute, mainly.
As for my whine: It's never a good feeling to realize that people you considered friends only consider you as a resource to be used when needed and then ignored.
No no no. I'm ABSOLUTELY certain it's specifically playing a winter map in Cities Skylines and being obsessed with heating homes and watching snow plows do their thing. There can't be any other rational explanation.Could it be having the same impact on me a week later? Different game and all....
Non stop snacking too. It’s wild.
You're both wrong. It's upgrading your base in Subnautica. No no no. I'm ABSOLUTELY certain it's specifically playing a winter map in Cities Skylines and being obsessed with heating homes and watching snow plows do their thing. There can't be any other rational explanation.
That game looks good. I’ve been thinking about getting it.I thought it was doing every possible sidequest in Spiritfarer.
It's so good! It's not super long, but it's got neat characters and a cool narrative device. That game looks good. I’ve been thinking about getting it.
That is, of course, an option that many traders eventually take. Sometimes their civilizations will send an army to besiege my fortress instead of traders. Which then results in their army getting slaughtered by my traps and military. And then I loot the weapons off the dead and use them to make even more traps. And melt down their armor. If I were a trader, I would simply not go to the fortress of dwarves.
