Today I learned that throwing up after eating something swimming in ponzu sauce fucking sucks. My throat and the back of my mouth are on fire. The taste in my mouth is like licking a battery. Since Covid I never know how tastes are going to hit me, but at first I was fine with the ponzu (a sauce I fucking adore) and then, after my last bite, I got this aftertaste that just hit me like a sack full of doorknobs and I was dashing to the bathroom.

I struggled over what to rate this. Brofist was too positive, Agree wasn't the right amount of solidarity. Settled on Hugs, but I want you to know I'm in a similar headspace, and it sucks.
Yesterday I got a call from my gas company that I had to submit a meter reading. I went on their website and did it but it said the reading was invalid. I sent them an email asking what was wrong and they told me it was rejected because it was a lower number than the last one. That was the case because the highest dial switched over from 9 to 0. They apparently don’t know how to handle such a case.

While living in an 800sq ft apartment, I once received an electric bill for over $2000 for the same reason.
Keep in mind this was the 90's, so hydroponics and Bitcoin weren't yet what they are today.

I fell today. Walking down a small hill between two machine rooms had a couple of rocks roll under my foot near a water well head (decent sized concrete post around and topped by cast iron piping) quick decision while falling to take the damage to knee and arm instead of taking on the well head face first. I hurt right now. Didn’t break anything, but I will have some wonderfully colorful bruises in a day or so.

Credit card associated with Halforums expired at the end of September. I didn’t update the card with Namecheap and lo and behold they shut us off. Bad part was the email they had was from my entertainment company that is no longer valid. So I couldn’t log in to the account to fix it.
Opened a couple of tickets but nothing happened until I complained on Twitter and they reached out to me. So the email address is updated as is the phone number. And obviously I paid the bill.

I am marginally involved in maintaining two different websites, and I am constantly finding things that have been broken for weeks because the people who are supposed to be maintaining them can't be bothered.
Called into work again. Another mental health day. This time, my manager called me. He said he'll have HR call me.

My whine: they blew a vein on each of my hands and the brushing has gotten worse each day. Last night my hands started swelling too and I am dropping stuff.

I got a Pfizer booster last week. My shoulder was sore for a couple days. I read about reactions like yours and that's why I'm waiting until next week for my flu shot.
i get this reaction to every vaccine i get, I have an over active immune system as far as I can tell, dont use me as barometer.
I have a friend who, along with his wife, went and got both the covid booster and flu shots on the same day. Both felt truly awful the next day.
I also only got my covid booster and talking to the nurses, they reported other people who also had similar reactions to both at once. So not just you, @Bones

I got both on Saturday and was wiped on Sunday.
