[PC Game] World of Warcraft: Catch All Thread

I just checked and I'm guildmaster for the guild on Ghostlands. I never kicked anyone from the guild, though, it still has a pretty full roster of characters that haven't logged on in forever.

Weird. All of my guys were de-guilded. I didn't /gquit as I wasn't on. I did have to send my ID to battle.net because even my authenticator no longer worked. Very strange.

Well, if you want them reinvited for whatever reason, let me know. I don't know what happened there. I haven't played on that character in forever and my other characters from that server have long since been transferred.

I'm not a huge mount collector, so I'm not worried about it. Plus I got the Hallowed achieve years ago, it was that damn Squashling that took me forever.

I love collecting mounts and for whatever reason I was obsessed with it last year. I've simmered down considerably on wow this year which is not a bad thing.

I would still love to have it, the Love Rocket and the Ashes.

Tried 40 times.

On my fresh 90 DK on Proudmoore I couldn't even get the helmet or sword out of the pumpkin. Would have been nice.

I took a big long break, but bought back in when my stepson got excited about the expansion. Now I'm happily playing away--got my main up to 60 and started a death knight. Good times.

Where's my step-son? Playing freaking Destiny.

I have to admit that the pet battle system and the gardening DID keep me pretty busy after level cap in MoP. I think Blizzard realizes that they have to have a bunch of side stuff around for more casual players who blow through the story content.

Yeah, I'm basically running old content for mounts and leveling my pets right now.

Also, I really love my Menagerie Custodian.

I dunno, Garrisons might scratch the itch people have for something a little different, plus the follower-gathering on top of that.
Garrisons are basically like all those phone games you see right now where you build a city/base/whatever and collect money over time, only in WoW. It WILL be popular just by that fact (and missions later on will even give epic gear), but it does not change the core dynamic of the game, which is still to get loot and become stronger.

Anyways, Darkmoon Faire has started this week and I just got those new Blazing Wings! They are pretty cool! I am honestly loving the toy box because now I can just goof off with my stuff I collect rather then having it all sit in the bank never to see the light of day (since I need my bag space for all my other junk).

I love leveling and dungeons and can be super patient in waiting for drops but raiding burns me out fairly quickly. Not sure what the real difference is.

I'll be buying WoD when I get home tonight. My son and I played for about 7 hours straight Saturday. We started new toons and leveled together. He is really, really bad at teamwork runs. He runs off doing his own thing during collection quests. So we end up running over the same ground trying to see if there are any dead creatures to loot. It was frustrating.

But it was fun running around with him and got me interested in it again.

So... I finally decided to go ahead and use my boost to get my mistweaver up to max level. I was getting a feel for him and only had a few spells that I didn't have yet, so I felt that the boost wouldn't make me feel like I didn't know what I was doing.

They drop you into the blasted lands to do the iron horde quests, and guess what. I had crackling jade lighting. serpent stance. and that was IT. no other attacks, couldn't change to crane stance to actually kill things. TEN minutes per mob it took. Apparently you have to do the entire Iron horde quest line to unlock all of your talents.

BULL..............................SHIT

I found the way around this.

Just take the portal to stormwind (or ogrimmar) and go to your class trainer and respec. It will restore all your abilities. Totally worth the 23 gold.

Yeah apparently people who are boosting a heal-spec character all have that problem. Druids get none of the shapeshifts and apparently just one heal and Wrath. It's pretty badly implemented.

Yeah, Blizzard did it like the Death Knight starting experience, which works great when you're a DPS or tank spec, but heal spec really has to struggle through. Would have been neat if they'd actually planned out an actual healer-relevant quest line (like having a companion to keep alive or something to that effect).

Doing an unholy deathknight wasn't too bad. I had a group come in and invite me just as I was getting to the final boss, so I'm not sure how difficult that would've been without the aid.

Recently I boosted up a monk into DPS spec, had to deal with the whole gaining skills over time in Blasted Lands issue. I died a few times because all I had was a few skills and no flying, plus no healing. It got REALLY bad when I had to go kill the final guy in Dreadmaul Hold, because it was near impossible to collect only one or two mobs with the skills it gave me, so I died maybe four times before I finally battled my way to the boss. The boss himself was easy with Maraad helping me, so that was not a problem at all, but getting in and our, so painful.

Makes me a little bit worried how the process will occur during the suicide mission, since that is much longer and more involved. I never made a pre-made so I never got to try it out in that way.

Also, I don't know if it's been fixed, but sometimes Thrall despawns right as the fight with that last dude starts. My 480something ilvl Feral had a really hard time with that solo, the guy hits like a truck.
