Sweet potatoes and mayhaw jelly? That's it? Granted, those two things are both wonderful, but they need a bigger map.

Figures New Jersey is, once again, all about the assholes and lips. *eyeroll*

Well, Wisconsin didn't get cheese (eh?), but then, neither did anyone else. I think we can live with brandy, bratwurst, and frozen custard (which is excellent).

Pretzels in PA? wtf?

Actually PA is like the pretzel capital of the US; we have Snyder's of Hanover, Philadelphia, Anderson Pretzels, ... son of a bitch.

You win this round, food stereotype chart!

What the hell is smettanick? GIMS'd it but it doesn't return any good results, other than some sort of cake?

Smettanick or smetannik is derived from Russian meaning sour cream. The Polish word for sour cream is śmietana or śmietanik. It's a sour cream based cake (cheese cake). How it's popular in Montana is unknown to me.

Yeah but no one says "My South Carolina Peach" as a term of endearment. I will, however, stand behind you if you try to inject it into our colloquialisms, because I think it sounds hilarious.

I thought Mayhaw was more of a TX thing. Maybe it is a Shreveport food stuff.

"The Valley" produces a lot of grapefruit. That is where Ruby Red grapefruits came from.

Also Crayfish in Misery (Missouri) and not in LA or TX?

I always think of blueberries, tomatoes, and corn when I think of New Jersey. But that is because of the area I lived in. I was surrounded by farms and pine trees. The town I lived in was next to the self-proclaimed Blueberry Capital of the World.

Ooh now I'm thinking about a clam bake. That would hit the spot.
