Now that sounds like an interesting and potentially disturbing sight.

Now, by broadsword, do you mean the precursor to the cutlass (also called a 'hanger'), or just any medieval-type single hand sword? (yes, I am a weapon nerd)
Admittedly my knowledge of Medieval weapons is somewhat limited. The type I am talking about is what I have used in sword training: a 15th-century Italian two-handed blade... which in retrospect would be more of a longsword than a broadsword.

Yeah, that's a longsword or even a greatsword. A broadsword was originally a Dutch naval hanger which eventually evolved into the cutlass, though it also refers to the basket-hilted 'claymore' type sword that developed from the schiavona. Romantic authors, however, often refered to any straight sword more substantial than the small sword as a "broadsword".

I know nothing about swords, but that's not what Wikipedia says, quoting sources as far back as 1599.

According to Wikipedia, cutlasses and naval swords qualify as "backswords" because they only have one edge. Again, not an expert, and I'll take my lumps. Just quoting what I saw.

I'm sorry but Bourbon is horrible and is a crime against whisky. And, for the record, people that argue for taste differences between liquors that are rarely drunk straight are the ones who assume cost implies pallete. Like the fools that put Grey Goose/belvedere in redbull.

No one should ever mix a liquor that costs more than $25 a fifth...

Or drink strait one that costs any less.

I can't get my head around Top Shelf Vodka... It is a flavorless, odorless alcohol. So Top Shelf has are even flavorlesser and odorlesser?

My favorite 3 stupid and pointless things to watch people argue about:
1) Which kind of alcohol is for "real men"
2) How much you "should" spend on alcohol
3) Steak
