Games on SALE!

Same. My setup is attached to my tv and I use a wireless mouse and keyboard and haven't had any trouble with it.

Apparently this thread is my new home but Warhammer40k: Dawn of War Goty editon was just added to the thq humble bundle.

GOTY edition makes you think it includes the expansions. It does not. IMO, nothing short of the platinum edition is worth getting.

THQ is giving away free PC download copies of Metro 2033 to hype the sequel. Just go to their Facebook page here, like it, then go to this location to get the download link and your activation code. It redeems on STEAM, so the download is basically just to make sure you have STEAM installed and to point you to where you redeem it.

I highly recommend picking up this offer. It's definitely one of the best shooters to come out of the former Soviet Bloc and it's probably my favorite in terms of sheer atmosphere. This is a game that wasn't afraid to make you feel pretty underpowered compared to your enemies and allies.

Huh, right after paying for it on the Humble Bundle, THQ starts giving it away for free?

Oh well, at least I gave money to charity.

And yes, the game's quite good. Wish it was slightly longer though.

Man I regret getting Arkham City back when it wasn't GotY edition. I have no intention of paying extra for any of the DLC.

GOG has now posted their End of the World Extravaganza Sale. Too many packs with too many games to count, but seriously, most are 75% off and some are 80% off.

Amongst others, there's the Might and Magic pack (all M&M games ever, both Heroes and the RPGs - that's 16 games with add-ons) for $25. Bullfrog Favourites with the 3 first Populous Games, both Dungeon Keepers, Theme Hospital, Flying carpet and Syndicate, for $12. And so on. It's worth a look, at the very least.

I paid for it. Man did the Harley Quinn expansion make me feel like I wasted money.

Seriously, though, let us use Nightwing and Robin in the world proper!

Humble Indie Bundle #7
- Indie Game the Movie!
- Snapshot
- Some ugly crap that's brutally hard
- Closure
- Shank 2
Beat the average to get:
- Legend of Grimrock
- Dungeon Defenders + DLC

Plus soundtracks and there is sure to be more tacked-on later.

Disappointed that the winter sale doesn't have any of the extras last year's did. Playing games for coal was fun.

Yeah, tell me that didn't have people buying games they would never have just because they were so cheap and gave a chance at others.

Also, I bought primal carnage for $8 because...dinosaur left 4 dead. Enough said

Someone should buy Borderlands 2 for me while it is on special. I promise to be available to play it fully COOP with you.

I call shenanigans on men claiming they can't play video games once a baby is born. Shit son, I remember raiding Molten Core while breast feeding at the same time. (No there are no pics you sick bastards <3)

Depends on the violence level of the game - My 4 year old is now addicted to playing Plants vs Zombies because he watched mom and dad playing that.

I tend to keep some of the more graphic ones to when he's not actively watching for now.
