Oh god, my feels took another hit.

EDIT: On the bright side, it appears the mechanism for the mouth is at least partially visible on the side Kin and Forgath are at. So they might be able to open it.

He only needs to survive long enough for the others to beat the Psion Minmax. Considering his advantageous position, that's certainly doable.

Is Psion Minmax even there? I didn't see him in the melee. But it's hard to imagine him not being there at this point unless he's up to...oh shit.

According to Thunt's Twitter feed, he and his wife have to go through the WHOLE COMIC and remove all references that aren't in the open license agreement.

Yuan-ti, Maglubiyet, Dungeon Master... even Player's Handbook (and more). It's all got to be taken out of the comic. :(
That's... quite bad.

This is fucking stupid. Don't they realize that this comic is so much more of a positive ad campaign than Table Titans could ever hope to be?

Well, according to his twitter feed, they didn't tell him to do it.. he just saw somebody else get C&D'd and decided he'd better do it before he gets one. We'll never know if they were willfully ignoring his use.

Also, for the newest page... jeez, Minmax is in trouble.

The massive genius angry Minmax is probably going to be a challenge. An alternate Klik is lifting up an alternate Minmax with his own version of Dies's arm, and we all know how powerful that thing can be. Behind Minmax is a Goblinslayer version of Kin, which is also bad. And apparently there's also tentacle monster Forgath, tentacle monster Kin, a version of Kin with her own material-shifting sword...

Blah, blah, blah... Minmax is fighting for love!

Some interesting details in the latest comic.
  • Klik trying to eat Goblinslayer-Kin's sword, and acting surprised when it doesn't work
  • The Minmax cut by "our" Minmax is from the uber-goblin reality.
  • Dies-arm Minmax and Giant Forgath dueling in the background, Minmax wins.
  • Axe of Prissan Forgath.

Seriously, Thunt puts so much detail into his work, no wonder his updates are often late. :p

I am really disliking the current format of 1 page action followed by a page of explanation of the different universes. It slows the comic down to a crawl

In a month we have gone from here http://www.goblinscomic.com/03062013/ to here http://www.goblinscomic.com/04022013/ with absolutely no indication that it will be speeding up at all. I mean I like the Altsplanations and I would love to have them in a Goblins comic or something but they shouldn't come at the expense of the story like they are right now. Maybe if he posted multiple pages like he used to then it wouldn't be so jarring but right now the comic is moving too slowly.

Make that two who agree with ya, Dubyamn ... It was bad enough not so long ago when there was maybe 1-2 strips per month. This just feels like a damn return to those dark times.

I was thinking... now that Psimax has torn holes into the Maze of Many, does it still work like it originally did, and will reset itself when one team wins? Because he could just wait until the next iteration to try again, instead of messing around with an increasing number of variables in the current version.
