Wyrmrest Accord WoW Guild Sexy Fun Time.

Running three alts through the same levels at once sure make it easier to farm mats for tailoring and enchanting, although I passed into Outland before I could get to the illusion dust level. Had to buy my way through that bit. :p

On a whim I finally decided to check out the pet battles. Up until that moment I'd been able to avoid the "Goldshire chat."

Thanks a whole frelling lot, guys.

Goldshire chat is twice as bad on an RP server by a magnitude.

I gotta get back into the game. A buddy of mine and I have been playing a lot of co-op Borderlands 2. I love me some Gunzerker!

I've still avoided Pet Battles. I was doing all the 5.0-5.1 raids every week + all the rep dailies then the 5.2 Dailies and LFRs, so didn't have much time to throw at it. Still don't.

Not that anyone's noticed :(, but I've got another alt into Northrend. I'm having more fun with the 'lock right now, and the warrior may have stalled. The hunter sure has.

I need to get the monk moving all the way through for the golds and the inscription gear. He's expected to supply the 'lock's staves and fans. :p

You like leveling like I do. Although my mage is still 3 bars from 90. I just can't stand to play him in Pandaria. He was great when I was grouped and raiding, but solo he sucks.

I play off an on but I have been having more of a creative drive these days. Trying to take advantage of it before I get caught up in 5.3

Really? So soon? Didn't 5.2 just happen?

Also the plot events are just for a short time only but the other things like dropping the amount of experience needed etc are permanent?

Yes the only things that are temp are the plot events. Anything you earn during the events and all the other changes like the lowered experience requirements will continue on.

I've gone through the 5.3 quests on my hordie. I'm liking it. I'm surprised at how well gathering the resources in the Barrens is going. People are working pretty well together in letting everyone know when a commander or caravan spawns. It's also nice to have the opposite faction around. Makes for some good little fights and a bit of rivalry.

Last night I got my first Primal Mojo and three of the latent Kor'kron pieces. I think I am going to use my next mojo to get the new pet, then start using the rest from that point on towards the gear. Also plan to level up one of my Horde now that the experience requirements for the last five levels is decreased.

Sadly on my server the Horde is pretty much dead and dominated by the Alliance. So my Alliance character's having no problems getting commanders while my Horde character saw 1 killed in 6hrs.

Alliance is getting about 2/3rds of them on mine. It's not too bad though. If you get horribly frustrated, I can always try to pull you over to my server. I'm guessing it'll die down by the end of the week though.

This is why I like having my tank spec. I just go to the spot of the main item I need and gather like 20 guys. I get around 15 of the item I need, loads of green gear, and a high chance for the special drops like the latent kor'kron armor (Like I said, got three of them. Chest, Pants, and Helm) plus the 24 slot kor'kron supply bag.

I stop for either the caravan to spawn (since you don't compete for it) or for someone to call out a commander cap, at which point I rush over. It still took awhile to get all 150 of each but I had a lot of fun with it.

I've been collecting tank gear, and will probably switch over to it just for that. The totems are annoying as hell too. They keep you in combat for forever unless you kill them all.

Stone and Oil are probably the hardest to get. I usually wait till I see a report that a stone or oil caravan has been overturned, then rush to the spot and pick up as much of the crates as I can. The biggest issue with stone is things like the totems complicating my tanking. The biggest issue with oil is the mobs are way more spread out.

The easiest to get is hands down lumber. Go up there and just collect a zillion laberors or overseers. Often times by the time you finish killing one pack another is spawning just next to you. Thankfully being a paladin I pretty much never get overwhelmed, so I can just let mobs keep streaming to me as packs die and new packs spawn.

Just an update in case you didn't see it, but they have a hotfix being worked on that will now make the commanders non-faction specific. Both sides will be able to tap and kill commanders for loot at the same time soon.

I kind of liked the faction tags. I'm guessing so many people will be on them with both factions getting loot, they won't last very long. Might still be just as hard to get in on the kills. I can see why the faction tag would be frustrating though.

Faction Tags are great in theory, but on servers where faction imbalance is 20+ to 1 or worse, it's not so great.

Pretty much. If this was a permanent event they likely would have left it as it was since it breeds some competition, but since this is a timed even that will end at the next patch, and thus all the achievements and rewards will go away, they can't let one faction lock the other out of the best way to get materials.

P.S. The hotfix should have gone through yesterday.

Which is why I understand why they need to do it. It would be nice if they could make better use of CRZ and try to zone in equal numbers of appropriate level characters for each faction.

The new ability for both factions to work together on commanders has made collecting resources rather trivial. In less then an hour I gained 300 of each material on my newly dinged orc warlock.

Also, why couldn't they have made the leveling like this since the beginning? The new 33% XP reduction is way less painful and more enjoyable, and makes it easier for me to level alts again. Now if only they brought back the flying mount tome.

the new leveling is lovely. My DK is almost 88 and you're right, its enjoyable and easier for those of us who like alts.

I'm going to work on the new content with my hunter for a bit.
