New Picture Thread

Just got back from Disneyland! Here are some pics we took:
Walt & Mickey

The Matterhorn

The Temple of the Forbidden Eye

Our favorite ride there!

Linzi enjoying lunch in Dowtown Disney.

Looking stunning at our dinner date at the Blue Bayou!

Jiminy Cricket says hi on my tie!

Enjoying our Crème Brûlée!

To celebrate my glorious return to lurkiness here is my daughter on her birthday. (She's the one on the right)

Engagement photos were finally taken a few weeks ago!

...clearly we don't take ourselves seriously at all. ;) We have lovey dovey ones too, but I just wanted to share a couple silly ones today!

For some reason, when I saw that last picture I read it as "2813" at first.

I was like, "An 800 year engagement?! Wow, you guys REALLY want to make sure you're right for each other first!" :p

You're both adorable. I love the classic gameboy invitations.
Thank you! I had this idea in mind but I had no way of putting it together myself, so I actually had Ashley Hay design it for me. I <3 her designs and she did such a beautiful job with what I described to her! \
(Random trivia... Ashley was actually in LittleKagsin 's Superhero Princess cosplay group as Belle!)[DOUBLEPOST=1373085486][/DOUBLEPOST]
You know, Michael could make a passable Gordon Freeman...
That's a new one! He gets Nicholas Cage ALL THE TIME and hates it. :p

From experience, you'll find that time of year both wonderful and frustrating at the same time. Our anniversary is December 17. I'm not saying don't do it, but be prepared (somewhere in your mind) for some frustration down the line between family and time for your day.
I expect we shouldn't run into much trouble. We're both pretty lax when it comes to anniversaries/celebrations, and both of our families are understanding when we're not able to make it to family gatherings. We're usually able to make it to both holiday celebrations, which turns into looooong days for both of us heading from one gathering to the next, but we're usually able to accommodate. :3

We didn't really hit any of that until after we had our daughter. Our families are good about all types of stuff, but once the grandchild was in the picture... I wouldn't trade it for anything though.

I just looked that guy up and asked my wife. She says, "other than the goofy grin he's (Dax) got in every picture, I can see it".

Pbbt. That was nothing. That was my daughter's sixth birthday party. At one point, I kid you not, I had 6 6 year old girls hanging off of me, which I'm fairly certain is the Sign of the Beast.

Note the grey sky in the background. This became VERY pertinent about 10 minutes later.

Seriously, it rained just about the entire time we were there, excepting a single entirely clear day. Ah well... we had fun!
